Tested the latest kext, not working for me on a Dell Precision 5550, Realtek ALC3281-CG (basically ALC289), using alcid=13. I still don't get an audio device. HDAUniversal-Fast-Diagnostics-2026-10-03_21-15-21.zip

Try VoodooHDA with VoodooHDAEnableHalfVolumeFix set to true.

Alc layout id 13 worked for me with applehda and applealc. I get no sound device with HDAUniversal. Please check my linux dump, if I need to use another layout id. Thank you very much! Edit: codec is Realtek ALC3281-CG in a Dell Precision 5550 codec_dump_0.zip
