Quanto às kexts do 10.13 aparecerem no 10.14, onde você viu isso?

You can try changing SMBIOS in Clover options. I had a laptop that could boot from USB only with MacBookPro8,3 SMBIOS. Other than that I'm out of ideas.

Did you try with USB emulation disabled?

Mojave installer converts HFS+ to APFS even on HDD. Run diskutil list in terminal to check your EFI partition identifier.
