  1. Hi! Thank you very much! I've just bought this one: BCM943225HMB (2.4 GHz, bgn, 2 stream, 108 Mbs + BT (3.0)) for only $9 at eBay. As soon as it arrives at home, I'll install it and get it working by following this sources: 1. https://github.com/toleda/wireless_half-mini 2. http://www.tonycrapx86.com/network/120181-bt-wifi-working-ga-h87n-wifi-customac-mini-using-bcm943225hmb.html 3. http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/292542-airport-pcie-half-mini/ Thank you again! I'll be back! Regards!
  2. Hi all, After almost one full day, I managed to get Mavericks 10.9.5 working just as I want. The only problem now is that I only have Internet connected via Ethernet and I'd like to connect via WiFi. My Asus K55VD network card is NOT compatible with any mac os system, so I'd like to change it so that I can get fully functional WiFi connection. So, do you know which is the best network card adapter for a laptop? I'd like to have at least 50-100Mbps. I found Dell DW1397 Broadcom 4312 Wireless Card but first of all I want to check other cards and buy the best one for my needs. Thank you very much in advance! Best regards!
  3. Now, typing kextstat in Terminal I'm getting that the following kexts are being loaded: - AppleIntelHD4000Graphics - AppleIntelFramebufferCapri - AppleGraphicsPowerManagement Using only HEX string -> Black screen Using only IntelCapriFB -> Same situation as previous post: It detects HD4000 with 1024MB VRAM but not fully accelerated I do not know what to do... This is very strange... Could you please post your chameleon plist and upload your kexts? Thank you.
  4. I'm on the right way but still have no full accelerated graphics... kextstat is reporting the following: Index Refs Address Size Wired Name (Version) <Linked Against> 1 55 0xffffff7f807df000 0x8d80 Thanks to that, I obtain this: As you can see, it detects Intel HD4000 with 1024MB of VRAM, but it doesn't provide full accelerated graphics yet... GraphicsEnabler=Yes -> It detects the Intel HD4000 at the boot, if not set, HD4000 does not exists. InjectIntel-ig=09006601 -> It injects my device id (See screenshot): Device ID: 0x0166 Revision ID: 0x0009 Device-properties=... -> Hex string corresponding to 01660003 (If I use 01660009, it shows black screen instead of OS). Any other idea? Thank you for your work and help.
  5. I'll revise everything again and I'll post my results. Thank you. P.S: Elan TouchPad working with MiltiTouch features (except scrolling :/ ), Altec Lansing audio also working. Not working: Wi-Fi, camera, full hd4000 graphics.
  6. Yes I read it. I tried the chameleon injection method (that's why I have IGPEnabler and and IntelCapriFB keys on my org.boot... plist. I tried from 0 to 11 and it didn't work, so I tried the 'old' method by using the hex string. Tried from 0 to B with no success... In Mountain Lion I got it working with hex string number 3 (0x01660003).
  7. I'm still stucked at enabling full HD4000 graphics. This is what I got: This is my org.chameleon.Boot.plist: <key>Graphics Mode</key> <string>1366x768x32</string> <key>GraphicsEnabler</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>IGPEnabler</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>RestartFix</key> <string>No</string> <key>SMBIOS</key> <string>/Extra/SMBios.plist</string> <key>SystemType</key> <string>2</string> <key>IntelCapriFB</key> <string>1</string> When I added the IntelCapriFB key and string, it enabled all the stuff of the screenshots above, but the animations are horrible and laggy. I'm loading the following kexts: - AppleIntelFramebufferCapri.kext - AppleIntelSNBGraphicsFB.kext If I add the AppleIntelHD4000Graphics*.kext/bundle, the OS gets stucked at the Bluetooth Transport missing message :/ I have not tested all IntelCarpiFB strings (from 0 to 11, but just tested 0 and 1) because I'm not sure if it will change anything. Do you have any idea of how can I enable full HD4000 graphics? The screens resolutions is OK, but animations are laggy . Thank you in advance. P.S: I've tried a lot of other ways, and this has been the only one that the OS is recognising integrated HD4000.
  8. Hmmm... Try what @pernacabeluda say... About deleting video kexts: I had a problem with video kexts that I wasn't able to boot. After searching a lil' bit, I found out to different versions of deleting or moving them and I 'created' my own. Here it is (write line by line): (boot in single user mode) mount -uw / cd /System/Library/Extensions mkdir /kext_backup mv AppleIntelHD* AppleIntelSNB* AppleIntelFramebuffer* AMDRadeon* ATI* GeForce* NVDA* kext_backup touch ../Extensions reboot This way you are creating a backup folder and move all video related kexts to it, so that they won't be loaded. Try it and tell us something!
  9. Keep calm. I meant Mountain Lion. Can't I be wrong? Nobody can tell me not to read because before asking I always google a lot, sometimes I don't find the solution and that's why forums exists, to share knowledge to others and to ask questions about a topic. Anyway I enabled Graphics Mode with the correct resolution of my laptop screen and I get a correct resolution.. Booting OK! The problem was with the Device Properties string I was using on Mountain Lion. Graphics aren't working, screen sometimes flicker and transitions are slow but for programming is enough. Not working: - Intel HD4000 Graphics (looking for a solution...) - Touchpad (looking for a solution...) - Wi-Fi (and it won't) - Audio (looking for a solution...) No tested: - HDMI out - VGA out I think that's all. I'll keep searching and googling, as I always do because I want to learn, not only try other's answers.
  10. I've reinstalled everything avoiding the Graphics Mode and the Device Properties string and everything is working as expected... Do someone know how can I enable HD4000 graphics?
  11. I don't understand where did you copy the kexts... You have to open the RAW image with TransMac (a Windows program), then navigate to System/Library/Extensions inside the program and then you have to copy those touhcpad kexts (seen like folders in Windows) to that folder using the program. Once done this, rewrite the image and boot again. If you still have problems, boot the USB installer in single user mode, then type by order: mount -uw / cd System/Library/Extensions VoodooPS2T Once you have written on the screen "VoodooPS2T" press the Tab key on the keyboard. If it automatically writes the entire name, it means that the kexts are there, and that will be a problem because if the kexts exists and the touchpad doesn't work, that means that your touchpad is incompatible with those kexts or something like this... I think I cannot help you anymore, that's all the knowledge I have...
  12. No problem at all. Try this: 0- Duplicate the RAW image in order to conserve the original file intact 1- Download TransMac for Windows and open the RAW image 2- In the left panel, you can explore the contents of the image and navigate to System/Library/Extensions 3- Once there, download this kext (from Olarila and the first post): http://Olarila.com/files/10.8/PS2/PS2_Voodoo.zip 4- Uncompress that ZIP and copy these 3 folders (Windows detect kexts as folders) AppleACPIPS2Nub.kext, VoodooPS2.prefPane and VoodooPS2Controller.kext to the RAW image opened with TransMac 5- Once done, write the new RAW image with new kexts on a USB drive and do whatever you did to get the install screen process This should work for you. Try it and tell us something P.S: I'm neither a pro user about hackintosh, but after installing and reinstalling things, I've learnt something hahahah. Just try and fail, this is the way I learn
  13. Yes you can add a kext in that folder in order to get touchpad working e.g PS/2 Keyboard/Mice and Trackpads from multishit (you can get it unzipping the file from Windows), but I'd suggest you to connect a USB mouse to avoid problems when booting the installer. And I think you don't need your keyboard if using a mouse to finish the installation.
  14. Hi all! After attempting several times to install Mavericks, I've reached a point that I cannot pass trough. These are the steps I followed (this is a mini tutorial I've created to install Mavericks on my Asus K55VD laptop). 0- Video kexts deleted from image in order to boot properly 1- Write image 2- Boot Installer from USB wihout flags 3- Install OS 4- Boot OS from USB with flags: -s 5- Move video kexts: 5.1- mount -uw / 5.2- cd /System/Library/Extensions 5.3- mkdir /kext_backup 5.4- mv AppleIntelHD* AppleIntelSNB* AppleIntelFramebuffer* AMDRadeon* ATI* GeForce* NVDA* kext_backup 5.5- touch ../Extensions 5.6- reboot 6- Configure OS and install: 6.1- Install Chameleon bootloader 6.2- Chamaleon Wizard: 6.2.1- Create /Extra folder 6.2.2- BOOT - GUI, Laptop, Graphics Mode (1366x768x32), Device Properties(*) 6.2.3- Duplicate org.chameleon.Boot.plist and rename to SMBios.plist 6.2.4- SMBIOS - MacBook Air (5,2) - Core i5/i7 (Ivy Bridge) 6.2.5- BOOT - SMBios.plist 6.3- Install multishit: 6.3.1- Graphics 6.3.1.1- Intel Graphics Patch for Mixed Configurations 6.3.2- Misc 6.3.2.1- ElliottForceLegacyRTC 6.3.2.2- EvOreboot 6.3.2.3- NullCPUPowerManagement 6.3.2.4- PS/2 Keyboard/Mice and Trackpads 6.3.2.5- USB 3.0 - Universal by Zenith432 6.3.3- Network 6.3.3.1- Realtek - Lnx2Mac's Realtek RTL81xx v0.0.90 6.3.4- Chimera v2.2.1 6.3.5- Chameleon Theme 2.2 Default 6.3.6- Install 7- Reboot and boot OS with flags: -v (*)-5e0000000100000001000000520000000100000002010c00d041030a000000000101060000027fff04002c0000004100410050004c002c00690067002d0070006c006100740066006f0072006d002d006900640000000800000003006601 The device properties string is used to enable HD4000 graphics (I used it to enable them in Snow Leopard). The problem is that when everything is installed and I reboot my laptop (step 7), it get stucked at "missing bluetooth controller transport". I know this is due to video drivers but I deleted all of them. I've also avoided to install Graphics on step 6.3.1.1 but still get stucked there. On the Extensions folder there's no video kexts and entering in single user mode I cannot find anything relevant. I've also tried to boot with -x flag but no luck. I suspect that the problem is the device properties string (I repeat that this string is the one I used with the installation of Snow Leopard and it worked very well) or the Graphics Mode that I set to 1366x768x32 (the laptop screen resolution) that in Snow Leopard was working as well. Do someone have an idea of what I am missing or what can I do? I'm lost right now, I don't know anything else I can do to get it working. Any idea will be tested! Thank you very much in advance!
  15. Hi! I've been trying to enable HD Graphics 4000 with no luck... I installed chimera 1.11.1 as you told me and then I installed SMBios of MacBook Air 5.2 because it has HD4000 and I have all the necessary kexts but it does not work. The about this Mac shows only 64MB of shared memory and I can't change this value on the BIOS because it is a laptop and it has not this option. I've also tried booting with "GraphicsEnabler=Yes" flag but when it boots the screens turns black. The device ID is 0166. Any other idea of how can I enable the graphics? Thank you for your interest and time.
  16. Both USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 are working for input devices like keyboards or mouses but any of them are working when I insert a USB Disk Drive. One of my USB Hard Drives has a led. When I connect that USB on Windows for example, the led remains on until I unplug it but on ML the led is on for 4 or 5 secs and then it turns off (like if it is not recieving power supply). So strange isn't it?
  17. I've just updated my signature About the nVidia... I've just found this: http://www.osx86.net/view/3299-geforce_610m.html How do I should use it? And any idea about why is the USB not working? I've just installed "multishit > PS/2 Keyboard/mice and trackpads" and now the keyboard of the laptop is working but no the mouse (does not mind because I use USB mouse). After installing this, USB for external keyboards and mouses works but when I inster a 32GB USB does not work ?¿?¿ What I have to fix first is the USB because inside it I have the nVidia stuff... Thank you!
  18. Hi! First of all thank you very much for your great hard work! It is the only Mac X I've been able to install without much problems. Here's what I've done to get it all ready: 1- Write the .RAW image to USB 2- Boot USB using this flags: UBSBusFix=Yes -f PciRoot=0 (If not, installer will not run) 3- Install Mac OS X Lion 4- Trouble getting the Mac GUI, stucked at "DSMOS has arrived" 5- Boot new installed OS with this flags: USBBusFix=Yes (If do not USB fix, all the USB entries are disabled, so no mouse) -s 6- Once in the -s mode: 6.1: /sbin/mount -uw / 6.2: mkdir ~/bkupgfx 6.3: cd /System/Library/Extensions 6.4: mv -f NVD*.kext ~/bkupgfx 6.5: exit 7- Mac OS X now READY! The main problem is that I do not have WIFI, Ethernet, audio and trackpad AND it does not detect my GT610M graphics card (M == laptop version), but I'm able to boot with "Graphics Mode"="1366x768x32". Now, my main probles is that when I boot, the USB ports aren't working so I have no mouse. It either does not work with USBBusFix=Yes. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. When it works, I see on verbose mode this: USBMSC Identifier (non-unique):... But when it doesn't work that line does not exists. What can I do? Thank you in advance!
