Power Gadget not show temps without SMCProcessor.. How to get SMCProcessor.kext that works for beta7 and above? Acidanthera deletes bug report 3 times.

Need this kext for menumeters.app and HWMonitor.app to show CPU temp and stats in menu bar.

Yes, boot ok with SMCProcessor.kext removed. Three times I submit but and appears three times deleted by acidanthera. Version 1.1.5 of kext boots but does not show correct CPU temp.

This issue raised on referral from Olarila/MaLdOn and I do not believe this is a usage nor a configuration issue. If I am missing something please note the deficiency in reply so I can make a complete bug report and include any info missing. Due to boot hang I was unable to obtain a lilu dump log without removing SMCProcessor from bootloader confitg. Anyone else experiencing this problem with Skylake i5 U series? Any relevant info appreciated to resolve this issue with Ventura beta.

SMCProcessor.kext version 1.3.1 debug and release versions continues to KP with both OpenCore 0.8.4 and Clover 5149. No problem observed with other kexts from same version VirualSMC/SMC. Remove SMCProcessor kext and boot ok with OC and Clover/Ventura beta 5/beta6. Skylake CPU i5 U series. SMCProcessor.kext boot ok with betas 1 and 2. HWMonitor and MenuMeters also not working with beta6 Where to look to find a log file to debug SMCProcessor problem? Help appreciated. Is there HWMonitor and MemuMeters apps work with beta 6?

Attached OC config.plist from OC boots Ventura beta 5 upgraded from Monterey. Scan policy modified to reduce OC text menu entry errors. Menu entry errors in OC appear to be a know issue. After first upgrade reboot the installer entry remained and it was necessary to select the previous OS (Monterey) menu entry for upgrade to complete. Thanks to MaLdOn for the base Skylake mobile Ventura OC download. beta5.zip

Hello MaLdOn: OC updated to 084 with Lilu 1.6.2 and VirtualSMC 1.3.0 I made some modificaions to your OC EFI downloaded from here: https://www.olarila.com/files/OPENCORE.MOD1/EFI.Opencore.NoteBook.SkyLake.Ventura.MOD.zip and got it to boot past the ACPICPU prior issue and to start the update process from Ventura developer beta 2 to beta 4. The update then spontaneously reboots after about 30 seconds after an on screen message pertaining to IOPlatform, and does not complete the first reboot update segment. I have not been able to find a working EFI for Ventura beta 4 /840G4 skylake after considerable searching. Do anyone have a working 840 G4 OC EFI that boots beta 4? Do you have any ideas what could be causing this update failure issue? Would it help for me to post an OC EFI that boots Ventura beta 2?

The DV beta 4 update fails to run and complete. Since this KP issue happens when booting the beta3 snapshot ,where do i need to look, such as log file(s) in order to see exactly what is causing the KP? Do I have to boot into the recovery console to find the source of the problem? Need a step by step explanation of how to diagnose this issue.

Where to go from here if new lapic patch needed. If many have this issue is there a dev working on this? A github/gitlab page to download from? Anyone who can tell me more how to deal with the b3 update issue?

Incremental update ventura b2 --> b4, not full installer. Latest clover 5148 and lilu 1.6.2 KP on first reboot. Same with latest OC 0.8.3 and lilu 1.6.2. Loads SSDT tables then hangs at ACPICPU and KPs shortly thereafter. Ventura b1 updated to b2 and boots without issues. Is this a kernel issue with b4? Necessary to somehow replace the kernel in the upgrade snapshot? Anyone with similar issue? Is there any resolution on this issue?
