  2. It doesn't show on manufacturer's page. I have an HP Envy 15t-k000 On the manufacture page it shows realtek driver for windows to download but doesn't say anywhere what my card is my serial of the laptop is 5CD434879Q What should i do from here? I put LInux Mint on a USB and booted it up and did a lspci -v and here is what it says and audio is working in this linux. 00:03.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation Xeon E3-1200 v3/4th Gen Core Processor HD Audio Controller (rev 06) Subsystem: Hewlett-Packard Company Xeon E3-1200 v3/4th Gen Core Processor HD Audio Controller Flags: bus master, fast devsel, latency 0, IRQ 35 Memory at b2610000 (64-bit, non-prefetchable) Capabilities: <access denied> Kernel driver in use: snd_hda_intel Kernel modules: snd_hda_intel 00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 8 Series/C220 Series Chipset High Definition Audio Controller (rev 05) Subsystem: Hewlett-Packard Company 8 Series/C220 Series Chipset High Definition Audio Controller Flags: bus master, fast devsel, latency 0, IRQ 36 Memory at b2614000 (64-bit, non-prefetchable) Capabilities: <access denied> Kernel driver in use: snd_hda_intel Kernel modules: snd_hda_intel I tried another command on my linux usb and i think i got it. I used arecord -L and it returned ALC3241 as shown below. So armed with ALC3241 and the screenshot i provided earlier what do i do? mint@mint:~$ arecord -l **** List of CAPTURE Hardware Devices **** card 1: PCH [HDA Intel PCH], device 0: ALC3241 Analog [ALC3241 Analog] Subdevices: 1/1 Subdevice #0: subdevice #0

  4. Awesome, that was the issue. I couldn't get the Atheros AR5B125 to work in Monterey so i took the laptop apart and replaced it with an Intel 7260 and I hadn't installed the battery back and all the screws I was testing it out. Thanks for the information simply putting the battery into the laptop fixed it. You're Awesome! Now i have to figure out how to get the sound working and I think that's the last thing that's not working. Thanks,
  5. My trackpad is working but I dont want to have to push it down to click on something. I want to just tap it. This setting is normally in trackpad but it shows there that to turn bluetooth on and says no trackpad found. Is there away to make it where i dont have to click to select something? Thanks,
