  1. Is ok. No KP until now, The only thing in kernel log is this: Aug 7 00:05:00 localhost kernel[0]: USBF: 0.279 AppleUSBEHCI[0xffffff80081da000]: unable to get filterInterruptEventSource Aug 7 00:05:00 localhost kernel[0]: USBF: 0.279 AppleUSBEHCI[0xffffff80081da000]::UIMInitialize - Error occurred (0xe00002be) The sleep is not working. When i press the sleep the monitor turn off and the laptop freeze. I didn't find that address in the original DSDT, so i guess i did good. Now let's patch the AppleHDA and make the sound to work.
  2. Valuable info Cassio : DSDT patching 101 I have extracted the dsdt from Windows7 using the DSDT Editor then go in my OSX open that file using DSDT Editor MAC (0.8) apply some patches: Notebook Core 2 ICH9 (LPC ICH9.txt, EHCI.txt, HDEF DSM.txt, HDEF PCI0.txt, DTGP.txt, IRQs.txt) I am not sure what is the difference between HDEF DSM.txt and HDEF PCI0.txt. Should i apply both patches if i want to use AppleHDA patched? The EHCI i think i needed because i get some errors: Aug 6 09:16:37 localhost kernel[0]: USBF: 0.344 AppleUSBEHCI[0xffffff8007724000]: unable to get filterInterruptEventSource Aug 6 09:16:37 localhost kernel[0]: USBF: 0.344 AppleUSBEHCI[0xffffff8007724000]::UIMInitialize - Error occurred (0xe00002be) Aug 6 16:51:18 localhost kernel[0]: USBF: 0.345 AppleUSBEHCI[0xffffff8007751000]: unable to get filterInterruptEventSource Aug 6 16:51:18 localhost kernel[0]: USBF: 0.347 AppleUSBEHCI[0xffffff8007751000]::UIMInitialize - Error occurred (0xe00002be) Aug 6 17:14:43 localhost kernel[0]: USBF: 0.288 AppleUSBEHCI[0xffffff8008200000]: unable to get filterInterruptEventSource Aug 6 17:14:43 localhost kernel[0]: USBF: 0.288 AppleUSBEHCI[0xffffff8008200000]::UIMInitialize - Error occurred (0xe00002be) After i apply the patches i compile and get 5 errors then press the Fix Errors. ( I uploaded the print screen). I will test the DSDT.aml and come with new info.
  3. I am not using a lot of stuff from there, only chimera and to install custom DSDT. I will find another way to install that DSDT (if there is). I will study that thread. What do you mean? Do not use DSDT Editor?
  4. Hello everyone! I recently installed OSX 10.7.4 on my laptop (using MyHack tool + 10.7.4 AppStore + USB). I have 3 OS: First Lion, Windows 7 and Ubuntu 12.04 on the same HDD Installation worked fine. After installing the OSX i use the multishit and install easyBeast (the first option in this app, beacause i don't have a custom dsdt). I need this OS for some app's that i work with them and i don't afford a MAC. The problem is: sound, sleep and ethernet are not working! The ethernet is not a problem, i use WIFI. I tested with GeekBench 2 on Lion and Windows and guess what? On MAC i get the score 2895 and in Windows7 2457. I can fell the Lion is running a little faster than Windows. This is the model of my laptop http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/product?cc=us&lc=en&dlc=en&product=3932374 This laptop came originally with ATHEROS AR5BXB63 which is not supported. Someone help me to modify my F.23 bios to remove the whitelist of WIFI cards, and now i am using a Broadcom BCM4321 which is working great. If someone need my modified bios files just ask. I see some nice tools here on this forum: SystemInfo a great app and DSDT Editor. This is my output using Systeminfo app: I use the DSDT editor, extract the DSDT and apply all the patches from Notebook Core 2 ICH9 which can be found here too http://Olarila.com/forum/patches.php I got 5 errors then i press fix Errors and use multishit to install the DSDT (custom DSDT). I get a lot of KP and i don't understand what i did wrong? I need some help to make the sleep and audio, and what i read on the forums the only way is through the DSDT. I will upload the extracted DSDT (untouched) from my laptop using DSDT Editor. Thank you! DSDT_CQ61.zip
