With this procedure you can change many options relevant to your Hackintosh like Above 4G, CFG Lock, CSM Support, DVMT Pre-allocated, Serial Port, TPM State, XHCI Hand-off, etc. Some manufacturers make this option available directly in the setup, just disable/enable. This procedure is not advanced, but has minimal risk. You are at your own risk. If you update the bios or use Load Optimized Default / Clear Cmos, you will need to redo the procedure. Download this file and add it to the Tools folder and the entry in the Misc/Tool tab ControlMsrE2.efi.zip On the boot screen, use the correct entry and see if it returns This firmware has LOCKED MSR 0xE2 register! If yes you can continue. 1- Download the Bios/UEFI file from the manufacturer's website. Some manufacturers like Lenovo provide the Bios packaged, in this case you need to extract it before starting this process. 2- Open the downloaded file with UEFITool 3- Look for CFG Lock in the Text tab 4- Select what the search returned 5- Extract as is... then save 6- Download ifrextract, open terminal and drag this tool, drag this saved file and output set to PE32.txt. Check image bellow. (on Windows use this version HERE) 7- The file was generated 8- Open the .txt file and search for CFG Lock, VarStoreInfo (VarOffset/VarName) and we have CFG Lock, VarStoreInfo (VarOffset/VarName): 0x43, VarStore: 0x11 in this case. What really matters to us is 0x43, VarStore: 0x11. You can check the values to change, which value is default, etc. Check image bellow. 9- Before we continue, let's confirm where to change the values. Search for VarStoreId: 0xXX. Need replace the value with whatever is returned from your Bios/UEFI file. In my case it was VarStore: 0x11. So I need to search VarStoreId: 0x11. The result is Name: CpuSetup. 10- The result in this case is 0x43 in CpuSetup. 11- Now let's get to the serious part. Download Ru.efi or this EFI folder EFI CFG RU.zip (You can update the file in the EFI folder. Just rename the RU.efi file to BOOTx64.efi and replace it in the BOOT folder) 12- Format a pendrive as HFS, mount the EFI partition and paste the EFI folder 13- Boot from the pendrive and you will see a screen like this. Press Enter. 14- Use Alt + C and select UEFI variable 15- Scroll down to CpuSetup 16- Navigate to 0x43 which was the value found in the first step of this tutorial 17- Change this value to 00 then use Ctrl + W to save and Alt + Q to exit 18- Check with ControlMsrE2.efi again and if it returns This firmware has UNLOCKED MSR 0xE2 register! it's done. Com Windows GPT podemos formatar como NTFS. Não precisamos do HybridMBR como antigamente no modo bios. 8- Comece a instalação do macOS. Formate a partição criada como APFS. --SEGUNDO PASSO - Criando uma partição EFI-- 9- Depois da instalação do macOS volte para o Windows e use as teclas Windows + R e digite diskmgmt.msc para acessar o Gerenciador de Disco. 10- Diminua a partição do Windows mais uma vez e crie uma partição com 200mb 11- Formate essa nova partição com Novo Volume Simples e File system FAT32 e Volume label EFI 12- Faça o download do Disk Genius AQUI, abra o app e use o botão direito do mouse em cima da partição de 200mb que você criou e use a opção Modify Partition Parameters 13- Em File System use EFI system partition 14- Selecione No Drive Letter e depois OK 15- Use o Save all, copie e cole a pasta EFI do Hackintosh para a nova partição e reinicie. Entre no setup do Bios/UEFI e selecione a partição com o OpenCore ou Clover como Boot Primário No macOS use o OCAT para montar a partição EFI Você pode renomear as partições para evitar confusão.
