I made a clone of my hard drive to start..Then I updated the kext and bootloader to lastest..after restart I get the circle with line through it. Any advise?

just added the mpc key 61 to my rig. it installs drivers that need to preboot but it doesnt seem to be doing so after restart and the keyboard isn't showing up via usb. Can any one help? OS 11.5

the bootargs is already currently dk.e1000=0..i recently added a rx 6600 to the rx 580 that was already installed..could that have anything to do with the ethernet not working?

Hello, wondering if I would be able to create a "dual boot" on this current hackintosh setup and create a boot for windows. Is that possible and how could I go about that? Thanks

i'm running..the only thing now is that I'm getting error code -38 and now -50 with my uad gear...i have the apollo twin mkII and the octo sat. all i have to do to get back going is find that disabled plugin and turn it off and back on..but its a pain and the bigger the session the more frequently it happens.. weird thing is it mostly happens with avalon vt-737sp, capital chambers..i think its because they both push a heavy load. Troubleshooting Disabled UAD Plug-Ins – Universal Audio Support Home (uaudio.com) Also, in my Graphics/Displays my "AMD Radeon RX 580" show as Type: GPU, Bus: PCIe, Slot: AirPort my NVIDIA card is there but labeled as just "Display" Type: GPU, Bus:PCIe, Slot: Slot-2..only has generic details and Kernel Extension info says: No Kext Loaded Not sure if its being utilized to its full capabilities or not. disregard. everything is running great. I used the efi folder that was shared with hotboi, disabled FakePCIID.kext & FakePCIID_Intel_I225-V.kext. Wifi works..ethernet works even with DHCP..no freezing. UAD Apollo Twin and Oct Sat working! All good! Thanks so much for providing all this great info!

i am having the problem with wifi/ether/blootooth like hotboi.. i followed his steps: EDIT: Disabled FakePCIID.kext & FakePCIID_Intel_I225-V.kext. Configued IPv4 to Manually and Manually as well under Hardware tab, full-duplex, flow-control, then Internet works. My system still freezes when the ethernet cable is attached. can anyone help?
