  1. thanks, and sorry want to clarify, what do You mean by "ew" slot? thanks! best, Jussi L.
  2. thanks, will check bios if there is something. Actually, right after I installed the card, there was a small icon in menu bar. It didn't function then as expected, so I tried the option "power off card" in the menu, and after that it was no longer visible. After that, I changed the PCI slot to see if I could get the menu bar icon back but no luck. Anyway, thanks! best, Jussi L.
  3. cheers, and thanks, attached!!Jussin’s Mac Pro.zip best, Jussi L.
  4. hi Folks, I'm on a H370 motherboard with a Coffee Lake processor, and have been searching info about AVB, would it be possible to get it working, more specifically for an Avid Pro Tools Carbon. So far no luck with the onboard LAN, a i210-based NIC has come up as a possibility, and I decided to try if it would help. But it seems the system doesn't recognize it. Is there a kext that is needed for this? Or something else. Help appreciated! This is the NIC: https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark/products/68668/intel-ethernet-server-adapter-i210-t1.html And my setup: MSI H370M BAZOOKA Catalina 10.15.7 Thanks! Best, Jussi L.
  5. hi folks, my Hackintosh is running fine, but wanted to check if anyone has any info/experience on installing soundcards that use AVB-audio? More specifically, I am using Pro Tools Carbon on my laptop, but wanted to see if it could be installed on hackintosh. So far I've had no luck in trying to install it, tried using the built-in ethernet and usb-c (with Avid qualified adapters). I know this is a special case....but if anyone has ideas or would be willing to help, I'll gladly pay for it. My Hackintosh specs: MSI Bazooka H370M https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/H370M-BAZOOKA.html i7-8700K (Coffee Lake) Catalina 10.15.7.
