Skylake : Intel HD 530: Dual Monitor not working
jamesst20 replied to jamesst20's topic in DSDT Patch Requests
Thanks for the help. I was thinking it would end up this way. Actually I am building this hackintosh for a friend of mine, I will finish the setup and let him know he won't have dual-monitor and sleep until he get a native AMD GPU supported. Would you be able to generate me the "best" configuration for this PC ? -

So I applied this <key>PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x2,0x0)</key> <dict> <key>AAPL,GfxYTile</key> <data> AQAAAA== </data> <key>AAPL,ig-platform-id</key> <data> AAAbGQ== </data> <key>AAPL,slot-name</key> <string>Internal@0,2,0</string> <key>device_type</key> <string>VGA compatible controller</string> <key>enable-hdmi20</key> <data> AQAAAA== </data> <key>framebuffer-con1-enable</key> <data> AQAAAA== </data> <key>framebuffer-con1-type</key> <data> AAgAAA== </data> <key>framebuffer-con2-enable</key> <data> AQAAAA== </data> <key>framebuffer-con2-type</key> <data> AAgAAA== </data> <key>framebuffer-fbmem</key> <data> AACQAA== </data> <key>framebuffer-patch-enable</key> <data> AQAAAA== </data> <key>framebuffer-stolenmem</key> <data> AAAwAQ== </data> <key>framebuffer-unifiedmem</key> <data> AAAAgA== </data> <key>hda-gfx</key> <string>onboard-1</string> <key>model</key> <string>Intel HD Graphics 530</string> </dict> and sadly didn't do much of a difference New SendMe : https://www.sendspace.com/file/mqgcar -
Try this premade patch https://www.olarila.com/topic/6420-guide-mobile-intel-hd-graphics-clover-or-opencore/ If it doesn't work, follow this guide. The Hackintool UI has changed but the base is there https://www.olarila.com/topic/5970-guide-hackintool-video-patch-fast-and-easy-solution/

Thanks for the quick reply, I deleted my clover folder and pasted yours then rebooted. I got a kernel panic (com.apple.driver.AppleIntelSKLGraphicsFramebuffer) so I had in Clover to put in ig-platform-id 0x12345678. Obviously I have no graphics acceleration but I ran the RunMe. Thanks! Just tried and replied there: -
Previous Thread: Hi, Here are my specsIt's a Dell Precision Tower 3620 (G9L5HK2).Intel Core i7-6700Intel HD 530Nvidia Quadro M4000 (Removed, so IGPU only)Chipset Intel C236 (100 series)Intel Ethernet I219-LMRealtek Audio ALC3861The motherboard has 2 DP ports and 1 HDMI port. Alone I have 1 DP port working and 1 HDMI port working. I need to reboot to switch port and they don't work used together. If I boot with the 2 monitors connected, only the DP monitor works. Second monitor doesn't appear to be recognized by the OS. I do use Whatevergeen and Lilu. I'm running the latest clover version. When HDMI port is connected, this is what it displays in Hackintool : When I use Display Port: What I have tried so far: <key>PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x2,0x0)</key> <dict> <key>framebuffer-stolenmem</key> <data>AAAwAQ==</data> <key>framebuffer-fbmem</key> <data>AACQAA==</data> <key>device_type</key> <string>VGA compatible controller</string> <key>hda-gfx</key> <string>onboard-1</string> <key>enable-hdmi-dividers-fix</key> <data>AQAAAA==</data> <key>framebuffer-patch-enable</key> <data>AQAAAA==</data> <key>framebuffer-con1-type</key> <data>AAgAAA==</data> <key>AAPL,slot-name</key> <string>Internal@0,2,0</string> <key>AAPL,ig-platform-id</key> <data>AAASGQ==</data> <key>force-online</key> <data>AQAAAA==</data> <key>model</key> <string>Intel HD Graphics 530</string> <key>framebuffer-con1-enable</key> <data>AQAAAA==</data> <key>framebuffer-unifiedmem</key> <data>AAAAgA==</data> </dict> and this with igfxonln=1 <key>PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x2,0x0)</key> <dict> <key>AAPL,ig-platform-id</key> <data> AAAbGQ== </data> <key>device-id</key> <data> GxkAAA== </data> <key>framebuffer-fbmem</key> <data> AACQAA== </data> <key>framebuffer-patch-enable</key> <data> AQAAAA== </data> <key>framebuffer-stolenmem</key> <data> AAAwAQ== </data> </dict> Results are the same Here is a RunMe/SendMe https://www.sendspace.com/file/rkw6uq Edit: I also noticed one thing: when using display port, I turn off the monitor or disconnect it, it won't turn back on, but HDMI yes. Thank youJames

Skylake : Intel HD 530: Dual Monitor not working

Someone with the same IGPU (but different dell computer) achieved a triple monitor. https://amp.reddit.com/r/hackintosh/comments/adawo5/is_dual_monitor_on_mojave_with_intel_hd_530/ I tried his method and ig-platform-id and same boot flags. No success either. @MaLd0n I know you have a lot on your plate and you help all of us for free, but I can't help but notice some threads are getting answered while mine is going down on the page Does it mean you don't know or it's currently not supported with the kind of patch we have at the moment? I don't mean any harm, I am just asking. Thank you James -

Dell Precision Tower 3620. Service Tag : G9L5HK2 Intel Core i7-6700Intel HD 530Nvidia Quadro M4000 (Removed, so IGPU only)Chipset Intel C236 (100 series)Intel Ethernet I219-LMRealtek Audio ALC3861 I used your app RunMe to dump as much information as possible. Here is the output https://www.sendspace.com/file/nxaxm8 ( I don't usually use the boot flag -cdfon. It was just a trial) -

I do not have any CSM Option on this Dell Precision Tower 3620. Tried the flag and it doesn't seem to have any effect. Also, it seems I was wrong, I have one DP port that isn't working. HDMI Connected: Top DisplayPort Connected I can't tell for the 2nd Display Port as it isn't working. Note that I have to reboot between each port test. I really don't understand how I fix these connectors. I tried exchanging BUS ID from index 1 and 3 and it did not make my 2nd DP work and it broke HDMI. I also tried to only change index 3 Bus ID to 0x02, but it didn't make it work either. However I get a black screen sooner. Thanks -

I would like to add (just edited first post), the Nvidia is removed from the tower. -
Skylake : Intel HD 530: Dual Monitor not working
jamesst20 replied to jamesst20's topic in Big Sur (10.16)
All ports work individually if there is a reboot between them. I just can't use multiple at the same time. Doesn't it mean the connectors are fine ? I also did try this to force my HDMI connector to be recognized as HDMI (0x08). The 2 others are already recognized as DP. <key>framebuffer-con1-enable</key> <data> AQAAAA== </data> <key>framebuffer-con1-type</key> <data> AAgAAA== </data> This sadly didn't do any difference -

Thanks for the quick reply. Like I said, I already done it unless this is not what you meant: <key>Properties</key> <dict> <key>PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x2,0x0)</key> <dict> <key>hda-gfx</key> <string>onboard-1</string> <key>framebuffer-stolenmem</key> <data>AAAwAQ==</data> <key>framebuffer-patch-enable</key> <data>AQAAAA==</data> <key>AAPL,slot-name</key> <string>Internal@0,2,0</string> <key>AAPL,ig-platform-id</key> <data>AAASGQ==</data> <key>model</key> <string>Intel HD Graphics 530</string> <key>framebuffer-fbmem</key> <data>AACQAA==</data> <key>device_type</key> <string>VGA compatible controller</string> </dict> </dict> -

If I try each port by booting with one connector connected, they all work. A port will only work if the monitor was connected to it during the boot. That means I can't switch port once the computer is booted up.Also, if I boot the computer with 2 monitors, I can see (in verbose) that the computer does boot entirely, but then the screen goes black before I reach the lockscreen.If I boot with one monitor, reach the desktop and then connect a second monitor, nothing happens. No freeze or reboot, but the 2nd monitor is not seen.I do use Whatevergeen and Lilu. I'm running the latest clover version and I did patch my (AAPL,ig-platform-id, framebuffer-stolenmem, etc.) using the HackinTool method (insert device patches in config.plist)Does anyone have a clue?Thank youJames Edit: We were not able to get dual monitor working. I ended up buying an ASUS DUAL OC RX 480 4GB.
