  1. Alright thanks! If it helps, it comes from here https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Post-Install/usb/misc/instant-wake.html https://github.com/dortania/OpenCore-Post-Install/blob/master/extra-files/SSDT-GPRW.aml Can't tell if it's rehabman version, but here are his source https://github.com/RehabMan/OS-X-Clover-Laptop-Config/blob/master/hotpatch/SSDT-GPRW.dsl I would like to add a fresh copy of DSDT. Dumped from Windows but booted straight from its Bootloader skipping OpenCore patches. SSDTime - Alienware m17 R4.zip Got it working! What I did was 1. Replace SSDT-AWAC with generated from SSDTTime 2. Replace SSDT-PLUG with generated from SSDTTime 3. Update deprecated SSDT-PNLFCFL with SSDT-PLUG (OpenCore) 4. Added SSDT-HPET and its patches from SSDTTime. 5. Removed SSDT-GPRW and its patch. Rebooted. Sleep still working. Wake from USB working as well!
  2. Havn't found any advice yet if you have any idea
  3. Test what? I'm sorry there might be a miss understanding. I must use SSDT-GPRW otherwise my laptop instantly wake up from sleep after 1 second. However, because I use SSDT-GPRW, I can't wake the laptop with USB. In other words, what fixes the instant wake is what also breaks the USB wake sleep. Is there a way to have a working sleep and also have USB wake support. Thank you
  4. You forgot the SSDT/Kext Should I remove SSDT-GPRW ?
  5. Hi,I am an happy owner of an Alienware m17 R4 and it's working pretty well under Monterey 12.1.SpecsIntel Core i7-10870HNvidia RTX 3080 (disabled)17,3" FHD (1920x1080) 144HzWi-Fi 6 AX1650In order to get sleep working, i.e get rid of the instant wake issue, I had to follow the open core guide and use SSDT-GPRW.aml + the patch"change Method(GPRW,2,N) to XPRW, pair with SSDT-GPRW.aml".The problem is that I would like to be able to wake the laptop from sleep using my keyboard and mouse instead of having to open the lid and press the power button when used like a desktop (which is like 80% of the usage).I read SSDT-GPRW.aml is the reason why USB Wake Support is not working but it's also the reason why my laptop is able to sleep. Is there something I can do? As far as I know, my USB mapping is properly done. Thanks in advance!
  6. Hi,I am trying to build a new hackintosh (Big Sur 11.2.3) with the following specs Motherboard: ASUS B560M Plus Wifi CPU: Intel Core i7-10700 Nvidia 1660 Super (Disabled with whatevergreen) I was able to successfully install Mac OS using the vesa boot flag. However, I am unable to get past black screen when trying to get graphics accelerations.Tried the following platform id: 07009B3E and 00009B3E per recommendations from the OpenCore guide. I've tried a lot of various BusID patching with Hackintosh :Index 1 (switching to DP), bus id tried: 5, 2 ,4 6Index 2 (switching to HDMI), bus is tried: 4, 1,2 5Couldn't get any port working between HDMI or DP. Would you have a clue? Send Me: https://www.sendspace.com/file/ghci5r
  7. Hopefully this guide help
  8. I don't have any other Thunderbolt device. I'm only looking to get at least one single external monitor to work ? @MaLd0n Do you have any suggestions? and would you have any clue about the bluetooth input ?
  9. New send me: https://www.sendspace.com/file/d2b6a4 Doesn't seem to change anything. I connected before booting and also tried to disconnect/reconnect the TB3 to DP adapter. Monitor not turning on
  10. Try boot flag igfxonln=1 (It's a Whatevergreen boot flag that forces all display to stay online)
  11. Here it is https://www.sendspace.com/file/0klk8l I also have noticed a second issue: when I use bluetooth headphones, the microphone input is not working. It's recognized but it's like it can't hear anything. My built in laptop microphone works. They are Sony headphone, they work on my other hackintosh. They were connected when RunMe was run.
  12. Yes that's what I did I used that SSDT to get all my USB ports recognized and then I did my USB port mapping, removed the SSDT, XhciPortLimit and USBInjectAll. Without that SSDT, I would never have been able to detect HS10 prior that. Would you know if it's possible to get Thunderbolt 3 to DP working on this laptop? I believe it might be the only port that is not physically wired to the dGPU
  13. I downgraded to Big Sur 11.2.3 to be able to use XhciPortLimit. No difference here no new USB ports detected. What do you mean by need native work? Since my keyboard is USB, what are my options? I noticed Fn+12 always select the last file in a folder. This is the only key with "visual" interaction. The shortcut is for AlienFx in Windows. Doesn't it mean it's somehow half working? Fixed! My keyboard was on HS10 but HS10 was not seen by OS X. After using this SSDT https://github.com/dortania/Getting-Started-With-ACPI/blob/master/extra-files/decompiled/SSDT-RHUB.dsl I have new ports detected and my keyboard is now working perfectly !
  14. According to Nirsoft USB Device Viewer, my keyboard is USB. I attached the screenshot. It seems to not be using the XHC controller. Do you have any idea? Reports HTML Full.zip Keyboard Screenshot.zip
  15. I would like to add: It seems Mac OS doesn't see the keyboard at all See images If I remove these unused ports, I'm scared I'm disabling the keyboard port Images.zip
  16. Using Ubuntu, I turned off my USB Controller and noticed the keyboard stopped working but not the trackpad. My keyboard seems to be USB driven. I will try to do the USB port mapping, it's just going to be harder since XhciPortLimit is broken in Big Sur 11.3
  17. No effect either By the way, by further investigating (DEBUG version of PS2Controtroller), I was able to notice that with 2 specific keys it does receive message. I installed Karabiner Elements EventViewer and it seems the only key it's able to catch is Fn+F11 (which is supposed to disable Touchpad if I were in Windows). Here is what it logs type:down HID usage:7,224 name:{"key_code":"left_control"} misc:flags left_control type:down HID usage:7,227 name:{"key_code":"left_command"} misc:flags left_command,left_control type:up HID usage:7,227 name:{"key_code":"left_command"} misc:flags left_control type:up HID usage:7,224 name:{"key_code":"left_control"} misc:
  18. Do you see anyway we can diagnose this ? I google "Alienware hackintosh keyboard" and it seems I am not the only one
  19. Won't it conflict with VoodooL2c or OpenCore? I can only try in few hours
  20. SendMe with EFI: https://www.sendspace.com/file/el6zm0
  21. Thanks a ton! -igfxblr alone was enough to fix the trouble ! Should I include the 2 flags anyway? No luck for the keyboard. I attached some Windows Device Manager screenshot that might add relevent information Screenshot.zip
  22. I finally got it ! There was an hidden shortcut in Windows to enable Optimus. Now my laptop built-in monitor is driven by IGPU it works flawless. 2 Problems: #1 I was not able to get the Keyboard to work though :( VoodooPS2Controller: Working trackpad (but very laggy), no keyboard Voodool2c: Working trackpad (butter smooth), no keyboard :( #2 During boot, the monitor brightness go very low. I cannot control the brightness (slider makes no effect). However, 5 minutes later, the brightness comes back fine and the brightness slider works. Send me: https://www.sendspace.com/file/49rcma
  23. Here is my BIOS https://imgur.com/a/Isuoe64 I'm able to boot without the flag -wegnoegpu but I have to spoof the Intel at 0x12314567. If the intel loads, I'm stuck here : https://imgur.com/a/pnHHxf3
