I upgraded the system today and thunderbolt hotplug is fully working! I upgraded to Monterey though.

So i am using a Gigabyte Aorus Z390 Pro mainboard. I am planning to upgrade from MacOS Catalina to Ventura. My challenge is to keep my Thunderbolt working because it is a productive envrionment and i cannot afford to have it in a non working state for more than 2 days. On my mainboard i installed the GC Titan Ridge 2.0 in PICe slot 04. At the moment I have Thunderbolt 3.0 hotplug working on Catalina with SMBIOS iMacPro1,1 and SSDT-Z390-RP21-SLOT4-TB3HP.aml, so i can use my UAD Apollo Interfaces. Will this be possible to do in Ventura without having to flash the firmware of my GC Titan Ridge 2.0? I have already mapped my USB-Ports and created a USBPorts.kext so i dont have to do it when Xhci port limit stops working. Thanks for your help! No problem. I will update to BigSur once i have fully figured out how to use hackintool correctly. I think the problem is on my side. I did the downgrad because i rely on my Thunderbolt 3 HotPlug functionality for working with my audio interface. Im not blaming you, its my fault and i need to figure out the problem with TB3 which is most impotant to me. Since it worked on catalina i will use my old install until i feel ready to update to BigSur. I will try to map my USB Ports und Catalina and then try the update again some time later when i dont have work to do with my TB3 devices. Let me know when you have the guide ready. Hi MaLd0n! Ok, i will try. Do you have any idea why my HotPlug AML für Thunderbolt suddenly stopped working? I thought it could be because of the usb-c ports of the titan ridge recognized by hackintool I only get my Thunderbolt working on COLD boot, but not on a WARM boot. It hotplug doesnt work anytime but it worked on Catalina... Thanks for your help, i will let you know if remapping with Hackintool worked. Greets

Gigabyte Aorus Z390 Pro (Updated my profile with specs)

Hi! I followed the instructions in the video but couldnt get my usb3 ports to work. When i used usbinjectall and xhci unsupported kext everything worked fine. Then i used hackintool to create USBPorts.kext When i use USBPorts Kext my Bluetooth works but none of the Ports on my motherboard work except the USB 2.0 hub and the port on my case. Also my thunderbolt hotplug SSDT doesnt seem to work anymore bc. my Thunderbolt Audio Interface is not recognized after unplugging it from the Titan Ridge and replugging. I updated to Open Core 0.6.8 now but that didnt change anything. My BigSur Update was performed thorugh an Update from Catalina to 11.3 I am very confused. Trying to get this to work fpr 4 hours now.. Hope you can help me! Thanks!

Hi! I would like to kindly ask for help since i updated my system to 11.3 from Catalina and it seems that my USB ports are not working except the one on my case. Weirdly enough the ports seem to work for my mouse when i am in the FileVault password screen. I think it is a port limit problem due to the BigSur support of my system. Hi MaLd0n! So for the WiFi it was just a bad card. Replaced it and it worked. The mouse lag issue was caused by my iiyama display that didnt like the DisplayPort connection or DP 1.2, my new LG has FreeSync and 1.4 so this might have fixed the problem. Now i installed my new GPU card and also a GB Titan Ridge 2.0. Could you please create a new DSDT for me? ( Will this enable the THB card?) Thanks very much!! Hi! So i yesterday i requested a DSDT Patch and everything works fine. One thing that could not be patched with that, i doubt it can be patched with a dsdt, is my mouse/frame/gpu lag. I dont really understand where it comes from. I tried different mouses (cable, bluetooth etc.) and it still happens. From what i found out it must be my GPU. Every few seconds my image freezes for a microsecond. Weirdly i dont notice that while watching videos on youtube etc. In safari i cant use netflix eventhough i tried shikigava=80 / 40 / 128 as boot arguments. Also my wifi does not work. It registers all the networks and i can type in a password but then i get "cant connect to network" My setup: RX5500 (tomorrow i will have a GB RX5700 XT to test) i9 9900 Gigabyte Z390 Pro BCM943602CS (Bluetooth working, WiFi not connecting) I will upload my EFI & video examples here. Maybe i did set up something wrong...
