  1. Just booted successfully now, using Lilu-1.6.2 and OC 8.3 from here https://dortania.github.io/builds/?product=OpenCorePkg&viewall=true Setup is Z490 Asrock Mainboard, i5, and rx580 Note: Needed to do an NVRAM Reset before starting the installer
  2. Good Morning, Anybody tried to update to Beta 3 yet ? On my M1 went smoothly but on my hackintosh, it dies after the first reboot. Am running the latest open core 0.8.3, on an Asrock Z490 / Intel i5 and Radeon RX 580. Have tried removing AppleALC and turning avoidruntimedefrag on / off, to no avail so far. It seems to be complaining a lot about executing /usr/sbin/nvram -d restore-xxx before it reboots. Not sure this is the main issue though.

  4. Did anyone get https://github.com/OpenIntelWireless/itlwm running on beta 10 ? I just received my Intel AX 200 wifi card which (I later found out) requires this driver to run, however this driver requires Misc -> Security -> Security Boot Model to be set to Default. I can only boot my system with the Security Boot Model to Disabled, I have also tried to Force IO80211Family to load as per documentation https://openintelwireless.github.io/itlwm/Installation.html#itlwm . The system boots and the wifi card works for a few seconds then stops working. Other than that everything seems to be working great. Thanks in advance My Setup is : CPU: Intel i5-10400 6Core Motherboard: ASROCK Z490 Pro 4 GPU: Radeon RX 580 8Gb
  5. I had an issue while trying to update to beta 9 on two identical hackintosh machines, basically whenever I tried to update the O.S. (from beta 8 to beta 9), I was getting this error "The volume can not be used because it is not snapshot booted". Apparently this happens on some real macs too, and the solution can be found here https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/653347 However this solution does not work on a hackintosh, and when I tried to enable "secure boot" from recovery, it just returned an error "Your firmware does not support secure boot" (re-)installing mac os from recovery worked for me, and it installed the latest version 20A5384c. Don't know if anyone else had this issue, maybe this can help someone. I would also be interested to know if there is another solution to this issue, to be able to upgrade via the normal way. I am using the latest opencore on an Asrock Z87 Board with an i7 CPU and an rx580 gpu J
