Need Help, i installed catalina in Dell Latitude e7270 (Skylake) but the Skylake EFI Folder (both Notebook & Non-notebook) won't boot. So i copied the EFI Folder from the USB Installer, gladly it booted but sleep not working, it freeze. [Solved] I'm sorry Sir, false alarm. Your DSDT.aml file still do the magic. The problem is wrong EFI folder. I download the notebook version efi folder (because mine is laptop) but thats the problem, so i donwload the non notebook efi folder then waalllaaahhh, i saw the magic. ??? Sir, this is a DSDT file you sent me before and it worked like magic. Recently i try to install HS on a same Laptop but in a different Drive. But I got a prohibited or stop logo on boot. But as usual, i'm able to boot using the usb installer. My Question is do i need another DSDT.aml file on this case or i miss something here? Thanks in advance sir. Hello Sir, I manage to get rid of those ACPI Error just by replaced: - VirtualSMC.kext with FakeSMC.kext - SMCBatteryManager.kext with ACPIBatteryManager.kext You & RehabMan did the magic. Next case to be fix is the random freeze.

I couldn't thank you enough for this patch, it's magic for me. The ACPI Error _SB.PCI0.LPC.BAT0._BIF & _BST Still present on boot, its obviously caused by me who don't know which patches to apply lol. But now the High Sierra in on, that's enough for me. I'll deal with the ACPI Error Later. Thanks a lot sir.
