Were you able to fix your problem? I have an Arrandale CPU (i3-370M) too and If I put "-x" in boot it hangs on "DSMOS has arrived" and after a while it shows the same error of kextd stall (With or without "-x" boot arg, and even with "0x12345678" in Fake ID I get the same error)
