Hi maldon, alc is just it? Sorry, I don't understand. I tried injecting via clover but it didn't work. I have special compiled alc because my pin conif is different so I have cx8150 which alc uses 21 but with special compiled alc it's layout is 3 through device>properties in clover with kexts to patch . Not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Hello MaLd0n and all, I updated to catalina beta 8 and lost my audio though it worked up until now. I am not sure what broke it and I tried to use the easy audio fix guide Mald0n linked previously with no success. On boot, I get the click sound coming from speaker but then have a grey speaker icon. I have tried b)ooting with and without flags : alcbeta, lilubeta or alcbeta and lilubetall(worked for me previously) I have attached run-me Send me Denniss-MacBook-Pro.zip

after doing this I get a boot error of "kernel cache not found" and had to reinstall from scratch. My alc was working fine until beta 8 . Not sure what's changed but cannot get audio working no matter what I do.

beta 8 didnt allow me to rebuild kectcache and it broke my audio

all is working except native audio. Codec isnt officially supported but I received a custom built alc. Just trying to figure out the audio not working, though slider , volume icons, and volume settings work. I do get audio out of hdmi, though. Thank you guys for all your help and everything you do

Hi folks, I am trying to get Imessage working. I have an issue under imessage debug where I have "ROM: ffffffffffff" I set rom to macaddress 0 and I am scared it isnt setting the correct value and thus giving me the "call customer service with this code" error. Im not sure if it is from clover settings or something wrong with dsdt, etc. Can I get help? Send me johnstons-mbp.zip

Hello, I am trying to figure out my audio. I have cx20672 and am running mojave 14.1 Currently trying alc with lilu and codec commander installed to L/E. I have tried layouts 2, 3, 12, 13 but have not yet had success. I would also like to see about disabling bluetooth if possible, please. Send me Denniss-MBP.zip

Hey folks, I am trying to patch dsdt to disable discrete graphics card on my laptop. Its an Nvidia 840m. I tried to use "RunMe" app but it gets caught up on IOreg dump. I have tried numerous times but can't complete it. Can you A-patch my dsdt and B-help me troubleshoot RunMe app?
