  1. Does it have the install instructions for the Kext it generates? I try to open the app and it tells me that it can only be used on OS 10.13 and later and I am unable to go any further. as it only displays an exit button
  2. Hello, I have got my Asus Prime Z390A up and running with Sonoma but am having an issue with my Asus Vega64 graphics card. The fans refuse to come on and run and it is causing a black screen and I have to shut the system down. The fans work fine in Windows but the will not run on the Mac OS Sonoma. Any ideas on how to resolve this issue?
  3. EXCELLENT! THAT DESERVES A DONATION! AS ALWAYS DANIEL, YOU ARE THE BEST! THANK YOU!
  4. Thanks! Send me Daniels-iMac-Pro.zip
  5. So if had two hard drives and I installed Sonoma on one and then put a second hard drive in and installed windows on it, should I be using the OCMod folder in the system on Sonoma? So as I understand this, if I choose to set the Sonoma drive as the primary boot drive and then select to boot to the windows drive, using the OCMod folder is a must? Is this correct? I really would like to make sure of this as I am using a hardware raid 0 assembly as my windows boot in a pcie x8 slot and really don’t want to loose it. I have removed the drive during my Somoma install so that no issues would present themselves. Thanks
  6. I see that for installing the OS there are “Open Core Mod” folders available for download for various chipsets. What is the purpose or difference between the standard open core folder and the open core mod?
  7. OK, Reset everything and did new install drive. Must have either missed an item in the BIOS or had a bad installer.Got it to load up and installing now. Now for the fun part of getting it to stand on it's own and everything working as needed!
  8. This is where it stops at... and moves no further. IMG_9070.heic.jpeg.zip What is wrong?
  9. 1. I have tried that. It doesn’t work. Will not load up. Get to “install Sonoma” from installer boot screen and it stops after a few lines of code. Step1. Downloaded “Olarila Sonoma 14.1” image Step 2. Formatted USB drive to MacOS extended Step 3. Used Balena Etcher to create installer. Step 4. Removed EFI folder from EFI partition on usb drive and replaced with 300 series chipset EFI folder provided. Step 5. Put USB into target system and boot to USB. Boot up… select “install Sonoma” . After several lines of code system stops and I cannot even get to the installer or tools to format drive for installation. Dead in the water…
  10. So if it is supported, is there a specific detailed guide anywhere for the installer creation, installation and the proper EFI folder or open core settings/adjustments for the hardware? I am able to find bits and pieces but nothing that is like a true step by step guide for this operation from start to finish.
  11. Well I thought I would attempt to install Sonoma on an Asus Prime z390a and there is absolutely nothing out there for this. Has anybody attempted it? I can't even find any info on installing this OS on this board. The closest thing I can find is to install Catalina.... chichis now no longer supported. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions on this?
  12. Hello all! I noticed that there was no 300 series chipset support in the Raw Ventura images available here but the newest “Beta” it becomes available. I also haven’t seen any successful Ventura loads with the Asus prime z390A motherboard. Is there a specific reason for that? Was hoping to get a machine up but looks like the best I can do now is to get an older OS that is no longer supported or install a beta. Any advice?
  13. Sorry for the delay in a response. I have had a similar problem in the past with a NVME drive. I was able to resolve it by performing a full erase ( simple one pass erase/write random data.) Only a one pass though. Then I went and performed a full format of drive( not fast format) and the problem I had with the NVME drive away. Hope this helps.
  14. There is no dsdt installed. I am trying to get to the first boot and set up screen after the installer has finished and reboots.... Any ideas?
  15. try with other gpu and check if work no difference on installing on G31m-ES2L. GTX650 boots fine on other system with Mojave already installed. Any Ideas?
  16. Install on new ssd does the same thing. Acts like video issue. Video card fine in windows card on accepted list. does not matter if -x flag used. card is using Kepler GK107 chip. Problems have been reported with cards using GK106 chip. (VRAM leakage) Will try my GTX770 card next. Any ideas?
  17. Yes... no difference. Still rebooting just after end of verbose load of OS. Installed on brand new drive. No difference. Just rebooting at the point that the Apple is supposed to come up
  18. Does same thing with- x boot flag. Not sure but I am gonna try another drive tomorrow morning . Something just doesn’t feel right.

  20. On Gigabyte G31m-ES2l with GTX650 (Kepler) Mojave Installer completes, system reboots and all is fine, Clover loads up, Mojave starts up verbose and just before the Apple logo starts It reboots. No error message or anything. Does it with -x, with or without inject NVIDIA. Why?

  22. Hello MaLd0n. I am currently on High Sierra and have your DSDT and other fixes in place. I am getting ready to do a clean install of Mojave on the same PC with different drive and a different graphics card. Current card is 8800gts, new card is GTX650. Do I have to get a new DSDT made and do I need to change anything in clover / EFI? Thanks!
  23. Definitely hardware problem. It is either there or it is not with the OS and clover. Make sure bios is up to date as well.
  24. Your video card is not natively supported: Doesn't mean that it may not work, just that it may require a little work on your behalf to get it to work and there is no guarantee that it won't have problems. IMHO, For the best experience with the least amount of headaches stick with a supported card. Here is the current list of NVIDIA supported cards on Mojave: Nvidia Kepler Cards that are Natively Supported: GTX Titan (GK110) GTX Titan Black (GK110) GTX Titan Z GTX 780/Ti GTX 770 GTX 760/Ti GT 740 GT 730 GT 720 GT 710 GTX 690 GTX 680 GTX 670 GTX 660/Ti GTX 650/Ti GTX 645 (GT 645 is Fermi) GT 640 (Kepler edition, GK107/208 core) GT 630 (Kepler edition, GK208 core) Quadro 410 Quadro K420 Quadro K600 Quadro K2000/D Quadro K4000/D Quadro K4200 Quadro K5000 Quadro K5200 Quadro K6000 Quadro NVS510 Please double check that the card is Kepler based as there are some cards here that are not Kepler based. When in doubt check the card part # @GPUZOO to verify a Kepler chip. there are also some issues with some of the 600 series cards that may create problems. Best advice is if you are gonna use one of the above listed cards stick with a 700 series for the least amount of problems, but always verify a Kepler chip on the card!
