Hi All, I have on my desktop pc which I built with this cpu (Intel Core i5 12500 6 Core 3.0GHz to 4.6GHz) and this motherboard (Gigabyte LGA 1700 Motherboard Intel Z690 ATX Rev. 1.0 GAMING X DDR4) and I haven't used it for a while as I've been using a mini pc with Monterey but went to use the desktop today and I cannot boot into Monterey or Ventura (both installed on two drives) I believe it is Alderlake CPU and tried downloading new usb installer image from Olarila site and also downloaded all the MOD EFI folders and tried all of them with no luck booting into Ventura or Monterey. Could anybody help with the correct EFI for this? thanks. IMG_0962.zip

Can anyone help with a working kext for Gigabyte WB1733D-I 1733Mbps PCI Express WiFi Adapter for use on Big Sur 11.2 using OpenCore? The same card is working for bluetooth but not the wifi. Thanks. -

ok, I've now raised minimum volume to 60 then tested not working and then changed audio out to 1 and tested not working. each time has the same error message prior to showing boot menu and also, since I first made changes to the config.plist to give boot chime I lost the Olarila gui and now has just the text only gui boot menu up in the top left of the screen. Could it be caused by incorrect PciRoot address to the audio hardware at all as I'm not sure if its correct device address. Thank you for all the help. And the audio file is present in resources folder. -

Hi, Thanks for the info, I've now reinstalled windows 10 to another drive by using Rufus to create a UEFI usb boot drive and once installed it just popped up on my OpenCore boot screen so that's all good. The next thing I'm trying to get running is the Apple boot chime and I have followed some instructions which has ended up showing this message prior to boot.Archive.zip I've added images of the error message and also my ProperTree view of my config.plist. Thanks. -

Hi MaLd0n, My Big Sur installation is working fine from the .raw file and I've used the resources folder to amend the boot them which is fine and boots well although I would like to hide unwanted boot screen icons like NVRAM, Preboot, Recovery, etc. and add my Windows OS to the boot screen but my Windows OS doesn't have an EFI that I can mount with OpenCore Configurator and can't add the bootmgfw.efi as I cannot find the PciRoot address for the windows drive and boot file. Is there any way to add my Windows OS to the OpenCore boot menu without the Windows OS being installed as GPT UEFI? Attached is my current boot screen. Thanks.04135857.png.zip -

Hi, I managed to get it back to normal again before I saw your reply. Another question now though, I have clover boot loader running but I need to have just one Mac OS icon and one Windows 10 icon but I currently have the Mac OS icon running fine but I have two Windows icons that don't do anything and if I want to boot into Windows then I need to restart and hit F11 to get into bios boot list and select the Windows drive from there. How can I have just the Mac OS and Windows 10 boot icons working on my clover boot screen? Here is what I currently have.Archive.zip edit, I have tried several times to edit the config.plist file with clover configurator and the only thing I’ve managed to get working from the GUI editing is hiding the unwanted icons and even the drop down list for selecting the drive partition when adding a custom entry shows the correct partitions in the drop down list but once selected comes up with “ - “ instead of showing the uuid or partition name. if anyone can help it would be much appreciated.- 3,037 replies

Install MacOS with Vanilla Olarila Image, Step by Step

Hi there, you helped me get my Catalina running around 9 months ago and it’s been fine up to yesterday, I had to remove one of my hard disks and replace for an ssd which I wanted to install separate windows to and I’ve managed to reset my bios to original settings. would you mind helping with the bios settings which I’m sure it’s just this as this is the only thing that changed and only white circle with line through it is what I’m getting when booting from clover now. motherboard is MSI B360M-PRO-VDH. thank you. marcus.- 3,037 replies

Hi MaLd0n My Olarila Catalina install is running quite well so far and now booting fine from SSD, only thing I'm struggling with is the audio for my MSI B360 Pro-VDH onboard audio. I have bluetooth audio running but I can't get any kexts to work for my 3 socket output for audio using a speaker. May I ask which kext will work for this? Many thanks. Edit: forget that, just found it from this site, it was the voodooHDA kext that sorted it.- 3,037 replies
