TouchScreen might be works, just map if it's run over USB Bus or patch if it's run over I2C or SMBus.

HELP! BIOS Issue on Ideapad S340-14IWL Monterey Beta10
tasco11 replied to tasco11's topic in Monterey (12)
No mean to be rude, but doesn't it feels like the problem comes from the BIOS itself? I've tried used Legacy Boot Support under BIOS and the keys are normal working, only i can't choose which OS as default boot option by pressing Cmd+Enter. Any possibilities related to EFI config? -
Hello guys, i have some problem. I can boot into macOS Big Sur 11.6, Windows and Monterey (currently Beta 10) perfectly use Opencore 0.7.4 (0.7.5 beta also booted), but the thing comes after that. When I did restart or shut down from Monterey, the laptop restarted or completely shut down, no issue about shutdown and restart, but i can't move any keys on the next phase using my laptop keyboard. So i can't choose which OS i want to boot after i did restart/shutdown from Monterey. The problem doesn't exist if i restart/shut down from Big Sur. To get it working back, i have to let the OpenCore boot into other OS first, and then restart again or I have to use USB keyboard to select OS. I tried update the BIOS but no luck so far. I also tried use Clover 5141 but also no luck. If any have some idea or advice, please lemme know. Any help would be appreciated. TIA! Here's the specs: Lenovo ideapad S340 - 14IWL CPU : i5-8265U iGPU: UHD620 dGPU: MX230 (Unsupported) RAM: 2x 4GB DDR4 Bootloader : OC 0.7.4 Release Version macOS : BigSur 11.6; Monterey Beta10 Boot Mode: UEFI GPT BIOS Version : ALCN33WW (v2.10) EC Version: ALEC33WW (v2.10)

Well, let's go troubleshoot. First, for initial boot a.k.a installation, use essential kext only. Lilu, Whatevergreen, VirtualSMC (and SMCBatteryManager), VoodooPS2Controller are the needed ones. Use USB Mouse is simpler than enable the I2C Touchpad. But, if you want to try, here's the trial: Add VoodooI2C and the satelite (I assume your stelite is HID). So add, VoodooI2C and VoodooI2CHID. Add SSDT-XOSI to OC/ACPI Add ACPI Patch : _OSI to XOSI (select from patch dropdown menu). On this state, your touchpad should work like mouse with click. Note: Some of VoodooI2C kexts may won't work even the setting is correct. You have to try the other version. Prelinked Kernel would make VoodooPS2 and VoodooI2C crash on some device. Take a look into both kext, if there are VoodooInput on both kexts, better eliminate one of them. I recommend to use older VoodooPS2Controller which doesn't have VoodooInput on it's Plugin. And, you could delete the other plugin and only left VoodooKeyboard only. Keep the VoodooI2C and it's kexts untouched.

Can't use touchpad and keyboard on BigSur on my i51035G
tasco11 replied to Samar Veer's topic in NEWS Releases & Updates
For kb, use voodoops2controller.kext, especially the one that ONLY has voodookeyboard as plugin For touchpad, use Voodooi2c, and satelitte kexts respective to your device. Also use SSDT-XOSI with _OSI to XOSI patch on acpi section -
