I am a former user of the forum, but I had to migrate from my other user (adriteam) to this (f1teamm) because I could not log in for weeks.
I guess it's related to the forum update.
I contact you again to request a new DSDT for my MSI GS40 laptop.
CPU: i7-6700HQ
Motherboard: Intel HM170 (Skylake PCH-H)
GPU: GTX970M and HD530
ALC898
I have updated the BIOS to the latest version and extracted a new origin to see if I get the perfect hackintosh.
With the previous DSDT created by you, everything worked perfect, except for some problems with the sound (switch from speakers to headphones automatically and HDMI audio).
The most I could get was with AppleALC, layout-id 98 and IRQ FIX on DSDT.
Microphone and speakers working perfect but:
- With the headphones you had to manually select "digital output" and you could not manage the output volume.
- When connecting via HDMI, the image worked but impossible to operate the hdmi audio
(hdmi image is only with MacbookPro13,1 SMBIOS on clover, with MacbookPro13,3 not working hdmi image).
I tried with AppleHDA patcher 1.8 and 1.9 but I had no luck and only the microphone worked, maybe it's a matter of setting layout-id = 2 in DSDT but it escapes my understanding.
