    Hya, yesterday i tried to update catalina, and got a panic. SOLVED: updated clover to 5107. copied the whole CLOVER/* directory over my installed CLOVER (/Volumes/EFI/EFI/CLOVER) - had a backup from my clover first. returned my config.plist. gave a try to the update (install) boot. worked fine. no panic. That's it.

    ok. thanks. regarding the flickering problem, which is the solution? i saw the config.plist, and as is, audio will not work (for me). i have it now working (speakes, headphones, hdmi).

    Hya, HP notebook with Intel HD 520, catalina latest. When lid is closed, notebook suspends, when lid open, it return, but the screen flickers randomly. no pattern. Is this behavior known? is there a way to fix it? Regarding hibernate, how can it be done, as disablehibernate was run by postinstall. Thx in advance!

    Well, i have almost everything working: - hdmi audio, video, volume up/down keys, wifi/wired network, etc..... only two items i'm not being able to make work or correct: - screen flicker, when back from sleep or any unknown condition, where the only solution is a reboot and - brightness keys. ACPI debug not working. Anyone with a good idea? Catalina on a I5 skylake HP notebook 520 graphics.

    Hi MaLd0n Hi, so far, i have it almost perfect running on my HP notebook. Volume FN keys working..... but FN brightness controls does not, and also FN network on/off (F12) HDMI is working for video, but no sound on it. How to make those work? Could not find...

    Hi MaLd0n, for the multiboot, i had clover folder at EFI directory, but my bios didn't show it, so, under windows i used easy uefi and added the entry. So far, so good, copied the config2.plist to the EFI/clover dir, and it booted right, with some errors. I'm using catalina, and the notebook is a HP. copied the ATH9KInjector.kext to EFI/clover/kexts/Other, and have now wifi and bt, with the DW1707 pci board. But i could not make my touchpad work, and keyboard is still erratic. I also read that they shall be copied to /System/Library/Extensions, but this is read only, but /Library/Extensions is writeable. Any help is welcome and thanks so far for the hints. BR

    Hi Mald0n, i do have the installed configuration: /dev/sda1 EFI-System /dev/sda2 Microsoft reserviert /dev/sda3 Microsoft Basisdaten /dev/sda4 Windows-Wiederherstellungsumgebung /dev/sda5 Linux Swap /dev/sda6 Linux-Dateisystem /dev/sda7 unbekannt ---- catalina install. /dev/sda8 Microsoft Basisdaten, Catalina is installed in partition 7 (dsk0s7), but grub does not recognize it. I'm using grub (MBR). To install the Olarila bootmanager, to which partition shall i install it? And Kexts, where shall they be installed? Until now, i'm only able to boot catalina with the pendrive (olarila boot). Thanks in advance!

    Dear MaLd0n, thank you for helping out. Using an usb mouse, i could install catalina on a hp notebook. Wifi is an Intel 3165 and touchpad a synaptics touchpad model 1. Where can i find drivers for it (sorry for the stupid question)? Regarding boot manager, UEFI enabled and working for windows and linux. Any hint in how to add clover without loosing previous UEFI entries? The hdd is the same for all (1 TB), and first partition (sda1 - linux) holds the UEFI). It shows like: root@HP15PW:~# ls /boot/efi/ EFI 'System Volume Information' root@HP15PW:~# ls /boot/efi/EFI/ APPLE Boot HP Microsoft ubuntu root@HP15PW:~# but mobos UEFI does not sees APPLE. Any hint? Thx in advance.

    Thx, i can go up to 4- Boot from USB, but without the mouse click, nothig goes further. The mouse is a synaptics touchpad model 1
