Hi After my successful Asus B360G hackintosh, i've upgraded the motherboard to a Asus Z390H , and here's my new pulled by SSsdtime script DSDT.aml in windows. - Bios and hackintosh setting fully updated in Bios thanks in advance. DSDT.7z

UPDATE: flashed (1 of the 2) Bios on RX5700 to RX5700XT - working fine in windows and MacOS

just keep it in notes.... copy and paste or take a look in downloads for/ at the disable hibernation.zip - unzip and look at contents in text editor and use as a sample to modify.

so does this mean? just to clarify as ALL I'm using is DSDT.aml (patched by you) in your Clover 100/200/300 EFI zip So If we use your clover 100 200 300 series chipset folder, and the DSDT.aml patched by you and we will NOT require the ssd-ec.aml / ssdt-hpet.aml / ssdt-plug.aml and the NVRAM fix ssdt-pmc.aml ? at all?

for once Apple listened - as this was a complaint on apple forum, about VXTDecoderXPCservice Kernel Panic, side effect helps us Navi users on our Hackintoshes.

with the new 10.15.4 Beta my Hack has been on now over 24+ hours - Auto screen saver at 5 mins and 5 mins later auto put to sleep @ 00:50 and Mouse wiggle to wake @ 7.20am and HELLO.... one fully awake - working Hack .... used for day watching videos /play/ make USB / compile Kexts etc, leaving to idle and sleep , also set caffeinated app for a hour , it keeps Hack awake for hour, the screen after 5 and then sleep, wakes up fine every time. and NOT A single reboot /kernal panic in over 24+ hours... HAPPY

I used the olarila clover 100 200 300 chipset zip EFI with slight mods to config.plist to suit my hardware.

UPDATED: RX5700 rebooting Kernel Panic is FIXED by the 10.15.4 Beta1 (so far - limited testing) Motherboard : ASUS B360G Gaming (BIOS 1703) - 300 series Socket 1151 mATX motherboard. CPU : 9th Generation - Socket 1151- Intel® Core™ i5-9400f. (NO iGPU) GPU : SAPPHIRE RX 5700 Pulse 8GB (requires agdpmod=pikera as a boot argument flag BUT only IF WEG.kext present in Clover.) RAM : Corsair VENGEANCE LPX 32GB (4x8GB) DDR4 3000MHz C15 @ 2666mhz (xmp in bios). Nvme: Sabrent Rocket 1TB TLC Nand formatted in 4K blocks (10.15.3) in m.2_2 (x4 mode slot) DRIVE 1 Nvme : SAMSUNG 970 EVO 256 GB in m.2_1 in mode x2 slot (macOS 10.15.4 Beta1). o.k for now the 10.15.4 Beta1 has 'FIXED' the RX5700 reboot / kernel panic on entering Display off, so there seems to be a RX5700 / MacOS fix in the new Beta 10.15.4

I'm not sure if shikivga=144 fixed it, or myself putting in correct password in terminal when it asks for password and I was putting xxxxxx and it should have been yyyyyyyy......... any way, clean install NOW fully working!!!! what does shikivga=144 do? =128 is for AMD+IM/IP with all decoding via hardware, correct? , what is =144 doing?

both using same clover EFI (copied over) and Bios settings unchanged, so its a Catalina setting at fault. my current settings in the working 10.15.3 CCC clone - which goes off for 8+hrs and comes back on fine and fully working just agdpmod=pikera in boot arguments System-wide power settings: Currently in use: autorestart 0 Sleep On Power Button 1 hibernatefile /var/vm/sleepimage proximitywake 0 powernap 1 gpuswitch 2 networkoversleep 0 disksleep 10 sleep 1 hibernatemode 0 ttyskeepawake 1 displaysleep 10 tcpkeepalive 1 womp 1 this works fine..... will do a clean install of 10.15.3 with same EFI, and do the master disabled and hibernate-disable.command, but add in shikivga=144 ( I had tried 128) this will sleep and wake fine if set to 1 min screen saver and 2 mins screen off - but if LEFT idle for 5-10 mins panics and reboots. so will try fresh... luckily I have 2x clones of 10.15.3 on separate bootable media to restore from (2 for safety incase one goes corrupt or accidental changes) so will play tonight on fresh install.

o.k used the master disabled command from utils (gatekeeper) and disable hibernate.command to turn off hibernation... still just not enough I'm thinking Catalina updates may have altered the way of setting these settings. I can NOT replicate a working hibernation setting(s) on a new fresh install on 10.15.3 / Asus b360g /i5=9400f / rx5700 8gb pulse now I know it can be done as have a CCC clone of a WORKING 10.15.3 which was updated from 10.15> 10.15.1> 10.15.2> etc - so I can always reload that by working I mean screen saver comes on after 5 mins - blank screen at 10 mins then into sleep mode , monitor powers off and then pc powers off, to a flashing power button, leave alone 30 mins or 8 hrs and wiggle mouse it all comes back working fine. SO I KNOW IT CAN BE DONE. a new fresh install gives me VTXDecoderService error, when it goes from screen saver to blank screen and panics and rebootd any ideas? the problem is I applied so many fixes to 10.15 / 10.15.1 /10.15.2 I can't pinpoint the correct fix....

Last update: Added WhatsEverGreen.kext 1.3.6 to fix HEVC as apple for now disabled it. Added a Logitech k780 keyboard (windows / Mac / iOS /android support and tablet and a Logitech MX master Mouse, both plug n play using just 1 unifying receiver. I will probably not update this anymore until a Major revision of macOS released as I now consider my machine stable.

Update: Added a VA panel 144 mhz 1ms 32" WQHD 2K Monitor via display port to replace my 24" 1080p HDMI monitor (Early xmas present) Config.plist from scratch for my hardware not universal 100/ 200 / 300 chipset folder. My Kexts slimmed down to my hardware only and updated (compiled) to latest DEV releases mapped my USB ports Via Appstore Beta program, Update Catalina to 10.15.3 Beta 1 from Desktop. All seems o.k

UPDATE: Now on 10.15.2 public release , seems fine same kexts / drivers / clover etc. Also 1015.2 public release allows you to install with rx5700 plugged in, unlike some earlier 10.15.1 versions

UPDATE: macOS 10.15.2 Beta 4 Post install Clover r5100 and deleted all boot arguments and removed WEG.kext , updated all Kexts and slimmed down to my hard ware specific kexts only. enables fast boot -1 in boot in clover configurator - so goes straight to apple logo then login - no clover gui. Ran Hackintool and corrected a few outdated kexts and proximity wake in power was set to 1 and now zero. so far No random reboots. Ran it all night with intel power gadget running + playing a video on loop. still running rock solid this morning - 8hrs later...

system specs please, cpu + graphics card + motherboard name, model, revision etc, (i.e mines a Asus B360G Gaming / i5-9400f / RX5700) as certain chipsets requires different clover folders added/merged into the usb installer. Mine required the 300 chipset.zip merged a custom DSDT.aml file and correctly configured Config.plist - Maldon (forum owner / mod) will help with dsdt.aml file. VT-d should be off, and VTT should be on if these setting available to you.

Send me Garys-iMac-Pro.zip this is the zip from runme.app - trying to test opencore 0.5.3 on my B360 Asus Motherboard - the version in post 1 doesn't work - so included my zip file for a opencore sdst creation. my mac os is 10.15.2 beta3 - the clover bootloader on ssd has been removed (was fully working - but gone clean for open core) and i boot my samsung 2.5inch 850 ssd (sata port 1) via usb clover stick. I understand opencore is flaky with NVMe drives (this is my m.2_2 drive in PCI-e X4 mode this has windows on) can be removed is opencore will not play nicely my m.2_1 drive is pci-e X2 mode as AHCI /sata mode is a WDC120GB green drive - this is blank - also understand opencore seeing nvme drives as sata is flaky too... (i have been reading both old and new open core guides... till head hurts!) my OSX drive that boot fine is a samsung 850 ssd in sata port one has 10.15.2. beta3 on running a RX5700 (yes i know about agpdmod+pikera) i can easily remove all m.2 drives and just use 850ssd if required due to conflicts, the rx5700 can be swapped for a rx480 if required, I am using ethernet intel1219v7 - can remove my asus wi-fi card if required but this was plug and play. some help with any or all of above - even if advice on required kexts etc.

UPDATE Changed Rx480 4GB to same brand Sapphire RX 5700 Pulse 8GB - this required agdpmod=pikera as a boot argument flag, as booted to logo then displayed no screen but could hear the failed user login noise.... use clover install usb - manually typed in agdpmod=pikera as a boot argument - then boot to the OSX drive (not usb) and use clover config to add agdpmod=pikera into config.plist and saved back to boot ssd. Now boots fine, I know I could have just removed the WEG.kext but thats for future investigation.

For the PRE install USB, it requires Clover r5092 IF using gibmacOS or will get No internet error, due to the installer requiring internet. App Store Catalina and terminal created install media will work with Clover 5100, once installed gibmacOS works with Clover 5100 Everything works or is disabled via dsdt.aml file in clover, with lots of help from the main moderator / owner of forums. ok thanks, have added water cooling to cpu, tidy up of cables, added back 2x4gb of ddr4 to give 22gb of ram, moved my asus wifi card from its x1 slot into the spare x16 slot to get a 3 slot space for a new Navi RX 5700 card (im thinking of buying...) as there are very few true 2 slots rx5700's most are 2.3 to 2.7 slots.... Also updated to Catalina 10.15.2 Beta 3 via beta program / app store update.... as now starting to support Navi GPU's.
