Finally received my new i7-7700k CPU and now my rx580 is working. When I run RunMe I get into an ever ending loop - "IOREG dump failed. Retrying. Increased delay x2 for IOREG dump. This will take a while... (33 sec)". I've added RunMe to Security & Privacy. I also copied IORegistryExplorer to Applications. What else do I need to do? Thanks!

Hi... Still having video card issues. MSI Z270 Motherboard Intel i7-7700 CPU Have two video cards. 1050Ti that works and new RX580 which is Sapphire Nitro is going nowhere. With the rx580 installed I loaded up Windows and the video card is working. I also loaded up Kubuntu and it reported issues with AMDGPU. It did startup with Safe Graphics. When I put the rx580 in and try to run Catalina as soon as I click on Clover I get "Boot failed; will sleep for 10 seconds before exiting..." Swamp in the 1050Ti and all is well. When I pull both video cards and run off iGPU it will load Catalina but the screen is messed up - Wrong colors and such. At times it would hang. I did a RunMe off just the iGPU. Couldn't do one with the rx580 in. Any suggestions? Send me Loris-iMac.zip

It's in the ACPI/patched folder. When I downloaded the Read me file it was with the 1050 Ti video card installed. I get no where with the RX580. Does that matter? Want to see my EFI?

MaLdOn - Did your suggestions and I end up with the following.... AMF: No Slide Values are usable! Falling back to 0 with 0x0D68A000 bytes! Error Allocating 0x11BD6 pages at 0x00000000046C8000 alloc type 2 Couldn't allocate runtime area Boot failed: Will sleep for 10 seconds before exiting Never exits. Any other suggestions before this card goes into the Mon river? Thanks!

MaLdOn I added WEG. Not sure why I removed it. I only have two graphic choices in this BIOS. Initiate Graphic Adapter which I set to PEG and IGD Multi-Monitor which I set to Disabled. No IntelGraphics even in OC section. Can you point me in the right direction on how to configure the iGPU? I thought this video card was good to go without having to do anything. Does it matter that it is a XFX card? Thanks!

Hi... Thanks for the help but still won't work with the RX580. I did notice that in Graphics Injector it lists the video card as a RX480 rather than a RX580. Should I give up on this card and return it? Never had issues before like this. Nothing changes but the video card. I've taken another Send Me and a screen shot in case they might help. Again thanks! I've been trying for days to update from Mojave to Catalina and I can as long as I use my 1050 ti video card. Since the higher ups have decide to kill off any drivers for the 1050 ti I have bought a RX580 but as soon as I swamp that in everything goes to hell. I'm not sure if I need a DSDT or what.
