Thanks a lot , I placed the DSDT File in the patched folder and it booted up working W/ brightness & sound perfect the only 2 things that aren't working is the clicking on the trackpad and the battery meter is stuck, 2 usbs arent getting enough power & cam seems not working ? Sorry for asking again but do you know how i can solve this sir ?

Hey there MaLd0n !! I'm back once again . I re-installed the OS again (clean install ) used the correct clover folder and ran the RunMe.app to generate the File ( I have included the file ) I really hope you can help . File.zip

MaLD0n I started from scratch followed all the instructions but I seem to keep running into the same problems Brightness is not working Trackpad is not clicking (can move mouse but no gestures no click via button or pad ) My usbs are not working correctly , not enough power ? but usb 2.0 dongles work ? Battery icon when pluggled is always 100% but isnt charging at all webcam isnt working either !!! but not super important I ran the Runme.app after making the changes you pointed out and attached the file so you can have a look !!! at this point i've been trying almost for a whole week straight and my results have been slow , im not having much luck here ...plz help me this is giving me a huge headache . file.zip

Its been about a week or so since I’ve been stuck with a series of problems that i was able to solve alone , I got the sound and brightness to work I haven’t tested the hdmi yet right now the problem is with the battery and touchpad I can’t click anything with the touchpad but can move around using the mouse , the battery meter says my laptop is 100% charged and when i plug in the charger it doesn’t charge , also 2 USB ports arent working correctly when i connect something into them it says whatever i connect isnt getting enough power , can anyone assist me with a bit of help ? My specs are DELL INSPIRON 3521 Ivy Bridge i5 3337U @1.80ghz 8gb ddr3 Intel Hd Graphics 4000 Audio realtek alc282

I was able to install and get mouse fixed but im gettongnstuck at the apple logo

Day 5 and i still haven’t figured it out i was able to install catalina but my click doesn’t work and when incpnnect a usb mouse it doesn’t work either

Thanks for your help and also replying , Yes that was what was wrong : ) I'm able to get to the installation screen but the mousepad doesn't click and I can't install because I need to click and i can't , I plugged in a wired mouse and the usb ports dont recognize it , I tried using tab and control key and I got through to the Catalina select drive to install page and I'm stuck , do you know what might be the problem ?

I made the bootable usb and i keep getting errors , i think its my boot options the flags is not letting me get to the installation screen im trying to get there trying different things but keep getting stuck

I just picked up a Dell inspiron 3521 i5 3337U cpu 8gb ram intel 4000 grraphics and I was wondering if anyone has been successful getting this thing to work , maybe share your plist and clover folder?
