  3. Hey! Thanks again : ) would LOVE to get my Fenvi T919 working unless you think its better not to. I also have this USB to Ethernet adapter getting only 20 mbps -- I pay for 400 mbps - thoughts? Or native ethernet working maybe? - seems to be faster all of the sudden! never mind! Send me Mikes-iMac-Pro.zip
  4. ok, hmm, so no way ever to accel graphics? thanks
  5. Hello there old friend! Hope you are well - I am attaching along my RunMe app for Monterey on my MSI Crosshair a11udk-202 17.3" laptop! Things not working: - wifi (obvi) - sound /microphone - trackpad - only 7mb of graphics accel Thanks! Send me Mikes-MacBook-Pro.zip
  6. okay, so what I did was use a USB to Ethernet adapter, and it is a RealTek chip so I used the RealTek kext and it works. I get 160 MBPS instead of my normal 400 MBPS, think there is any way to get a little more out of it? Thanks
  7. Will do this and use the EFI you gave me and report back - may need day or so, thanks so so so much
  8. Hey the folder is great! I did not have any freezes and I was able to install and land on the desktop successfully. I am having one issue: 1. Ethernet keeps dropping on and off all on its own which is very odd.... I took a screen record so you could see: https://photos.app.goo.gl/p4qWoALJtfWSrDRi6 Things I tried: - updating IntelMausi kext to latest - removing all other ethernet kexts (and updating config) - applying patch from above: ""I do have a I225-V 2.5G LAN and used the patch from here in kernel too as well as device-id from here (PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x1C,0x1)/Pci(0x0,0x0) section only) which didn't seem to hurt anything / change the freezing in any way."" ....nothing fixed it. Thoughts? Thanks.
  9. Hey! As always thanks for all your help and support. Using the Dortaina guide and yours I am able to reach the installer for Monterey but get a freeze or a random reboot anywhere from 10 seconds to 10 minutes after reaching installer. (Same exact thing with Big Sur installer). Sometimes I can format the disk and begin the install, sometimes it'll freeze during the install, sometimes it will freeze while formatting the disk. Very random and I can't reproduce it... I am unsure why. I found that masking the CPU with the strings you recommended got me there, but the ones from this config.plist seemed to make things work better / let me do things longer before freezing. I also used the PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x1F,0x3) string from the above config.plist. NOTE: I am not able to reach the installer if I leave DeviceProperties blank like your pre-built EFI. I also tried SMBIOS for iMacPro1,1 and the current iMac20,1 like Dortaina recommends for 8 core processors. Neither seem to make a difference. I do have a I225-V 2.5G LAN and used the patch from here in kernel too as well as device-id from here (PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x1C,0x1)/Pci(0x0,0x0) section only) which didn't seem to hurt anything / change the freezing in any way. I was wondering if you had any thoughts at this time on why it might be freezing randomly? Thanks. (Bios set up according to here.) Specs: i7-11700k MSI z590 Gaming Carbon WiFi Nitro Sapphire RX Vega 56 (using 64 bios at the moment and previously worked on an old hack with big sur and the same card with occasional freezing with Final Cut Pro use) Crucial 500gb SSD SATA FENVI T919 WIFI / BT Card Attached is the EFI that let me get 17 whole minutes into the installer before freezing. 11-7-21_520.zip
  10. Hey! I fixed sleep and all that. Now i have one small issue left. Issue: When the laptop is booted and logged into BigSur and I plug in the HDMI cable, the machine registers it and my second display works great. No issues. It is when I go to unplug it, the first time I plug/unplug everything works as normal and the laptop recognizes that the HDMI cable was removed and the display changes back to just the laptop screen. The second time I plug/unplug the laptop doesn't recognize that I disconnected the HDMI cable and remains thinking that there are two screens still. (All settings and such allows me to configure the second screen like it is still there even though it is unplugged. I can also move applications off of the laptop screen to where the "second screen would be" and they will stay there like it is still plugged in.) I'll attach a link to my config. Any help would be great. Hardware: Laptop model: Xps 15 7590 4k IPS, 16gb RAM, 512gb ssd, dual boot with windows 10 pro CPU: i7 9750h GPU: uhd 630 Audio codec: Realtek 298, works with layout-id 30 Bios: 1.8.1, offsets changed for undervolt and cfg-lock Install method: Opencore 0.6.4 Secondary source for refinement: https://github.com/xxxzc/xps15-9570-macos Thoughts? Here is my new RunMe Thanks. Send me Mikes-MacBook-Pro.zip
  11. hey, no go. This is as far as I get. I tried all the other 630 patches and even the generic: https://photos.app.goo.gl/eZVKUVw1b11oqzpT9 I can hear noises when I press keys but no screen unfortunately. All my kexts are updated and i tried upgrading OC to 0.6.4
  12. Hey - which patch is that just so im clear? Thanks.
  13. used your config with -igfxvesa and got to run the RunMe.app -- here you go, thank you. Send me Mikes-MacBook-Pro.zip
  14. Ok, I can get this to you later - have to go to work ? thank you
  15. When I had used my config, and updated all kexts, machine would reboot after being on and logged in for 3 minutes and it would continue to do this. I will try and update all kexts with your config and I will try that bootflag and report back
  16. thanks for reply, boots to black screen but i can hear sounds when pressing buttons
  17. Hey! Hope all is well. Looking to fix some sleep issues. Two of them. 1.) Wake from sleep happens within a few seconds of trying to sleep with this output: https://photos.app.goo.gl/Y3rHUJiujRd1RnRS6 I did try a hotpatch but it only seems to work sometimes. Wake from LAN is turned OFF in bios too, power nap is turned off in system settings too 2.) Upon wake, whether I close the lid or select Sleep from the apple menu, I get this odd, "split screen" upon wake that I can only fix with a reboot. https://photos.app.goo.gl/Y3rHUJiujRd1RnRS6 Please let me know what you think, thanks. Send me Mikes-MacBook-Pro.zip
  18. Awesome thank you does that mean no more black screen on boot then??
  19. hey was wondering if Beta 10 fixed this issue?? thanks!
  20. Wow did not know that. May I ask what that means in specifics?
  21. hey! Hope you are well. Long story short, I've gotten Catalina 10.15.7 running flawlessly on a Dell XPS 7590 (Specs below): CPU: Intel Core i7 9750H iGPU: Intel Graphics UHD 630 dGPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 Screen: IPS 4K Display (non OLED) Ram: Stock 16gb SSD: Stock 500gb NVME WiFi/BT: M.2 BCM94360NG (native) I am trying to get BigSur iGPU acceleration going. My issue is getting iGPU acceleration to work right. I don't think it is a SSDT issue but it may be - because the SSDT's work flawless on Catalina. I am including my RunMe.app from BigSur and my flawless Catalina SendMe. To install BigSur I had used your pre-made EFI for Skylake+. But GPU accel didn't work then either. Please let me know what you think the issue may be. Thanks! link to Catalina SendMe since it is too large to attach: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1fAEVSSFy_lfM6zzeLJ5jd2UOuSIn6rX-/view?usp=sharing I should also add that when I try to use my Catalina EFI to boot BigSur I get an issue regarding a conflict with voodoo input : https://photos.app.goo.gl/YQFJ2XhJkQ5dZxea6 Big_Sur Send me Mikes-MacBook-Pro.zip
  22. yes, thank you! New issue here : (. I have had this issue since Beta 1
  23. Hi! So I have been able to get Big Sur Beta 3 to boot! I cannot see the internal SSD though unfortunately. I was wondering if you had any thoughts? Here is my EFI: Zenbook_BigSur3_No_SSD_on_installer.zip This is my SSD: WD Blue 3D NAND 500GB Internal PC SSD - SATA III 6 Gb/s, M.2 2280, Up to 560 MB/s - WDS500G2B0B
