    As stated, I tried them. I am in contact with with him, maybe hopefully work it out. Just curious though why your 1st patch enabled the kb light, but it stuck on. Your second patch doesnt work at all.

    I did. Nothing is working. The 1st edit you did for me enabled the kb backlight, but it never turned off. The last one, enabled the buttons for display brightness up and down, but kb backlight is not working at all. Thanks that's why I need help. Thanks.

    Please help. I have working brightness keys for display now, but still no KB backlight. I have an asus with only 1 kb light key. F7. I have all asussmc files in place and patches...Wondering if you could make F7 brightness up, and use f6 brightness down. The f6 is my trackpad on off, which i dont care about. Thanks so much!     Got an asus vivo flip book....Exact model is in sig... With help from op in battery section, i have working battery. What i am hoping for now, is working FN keys, and MOST important to me is Keyboard Backlight. Would greatly appreciate if someone can help me out. Thanks Send me Richs-MBP.zip

    I am using vitualsmc, and smcbattery manager...I get 0 percent....I tried only acpibatterrymanager, and get only 100. I sent the logs using virtual and smcbatt.

    All that work...and now i cant boot...I tried installing ACIPBatterymanager.kext...and she wont boot. UGH. Any ideas? How do I boot without that kext? Added in 1 minute 40 seconds: I should have left it alone Added in 2 minutes 55 seconds: It bootedTook forever.........i now have 100% batt with acpibattmanager. I will try removing smcbatt manager Added in 33 seconds: Sick of me yet? Added in 37 minutes 49 seconds: OK, smcbatterymanager kext...And i get 0%. Using acpibattery kext i get 100%....they never change. Send me richs-MBP.zip

    OK, so my error is actually the b1 files are missing. How do I place them?

    Syntax errors,,end of line or something. Gonna try again today. If not, I'm done. I have no idea what I'm doing. All I need is battery working, so I'm get touchpad settings working.
