Hi! I have also encountered issues with sleep. Firstly when I wake up from sleep, the laptop screen doesn't wake up (It goes dark). The fix is to completely lower the Brightness using F11 and increase the Brightness again using F12. Second issue is the trackpad going weird after waking from sleep like you mentioned. The trick is just a simple left hard click on the left side of touchpad and it works perfectly after that. You might be having touchpad issues because the touchpad model might be different from the one I have. It's necessary to patch the touchpad drivers as per the specific model you have to make it work perfectly. I have patched the touchpad drivers according to my touchpad model therefore it works perfectly for me (except for the above issues which are resolvable). Also, I disabled ̃FileVault in latest version of EFI because it created problems for me while mounting my secondary NTFS drive through Mounty. Anyways, Thanks for the new changes, will test and update the EFI once I update my macOS to the latest version.

Finding the exact model configuration is difficult. You have to create your own EFI as per the system requirements. macOS on Lenovo ideapad 520-15IKB - Laptop - Olarila Use the above link for BigSur?. It has similar configuration to the Lenovo Ideapad 310 and you can make required changes as needed.

UPDATE 18/01/2021 : 1. Updated OpenCore Bootloader to version 0.6.5. 2. Added a lot of necessary SSDT's to ACPI Folder for smooth functionality of the system. 3. Made necessary adjustments to config.plist. 4. Removed unnecessary kext and updated to latest version. 5. Works Perfectly for macOS Big Sur 11.1. I lost my Broadcom Wifi Card so I am using Intel Wifi Card for my laptop. So I removed all the Broadcom Kexts. If anyone using Broadcom Card can just install the kexts and update the config.plist accordingly. Links are updated in OP. Credits : @MaLd0n, Github members (especially Ab2774), Google.

There won't be any major benefit from updating OpenCore. I updated to OpenCore 0.6.1 Release Version and it still works the same. I don't use USB-C port for headphones (Neither in Windows or macOS). Maybe the port isn't for audio output. Will look into it too. I am still fixing sleep issues. So far, Sleep works but the trackpad doesn't work smoothly after wake and the only solution is to restart the OS. Still I am trying to solve the issue. I accidentally solved it one time but forgot to take backup of the config.plist and now I am back to fixing it again. Will post once it's fixed.

Great Guide! I'll add the link the OP.

I knew the CFG-Lock was disabled and I never tried to unlock it cause I thought it might cause problems to the Windows (which I use mostly). Surely you can post it here the guide or send me in PM. I will credit it and add it to the OP in this thread.? Also, don't think no one will use it. I believe If you helped even just one person, you have done a lot to have a good night's sleep..?
-
I never had a problem with sleep when using OpenCore. Did you try the HibernationFixup.kext? Maybe it might help you with Catalina too.
-
Try HibernationFixup.kext, maybe it might solve the issue. It's included in the OpenCore EFI. Or just switch to OpenCore as it is more stable.
-
UPDATE (22/07/2020) : - Edited the OP and made it cleaner. - Added OpenCore EFI Folders for macOS Catalina and Big Sur. - Added ApfsDriverLoader.efi to macOS Mojave EFI Folder. CHECK THE OP FOR MORE DETAILS.
-
It sometimes happened when I used Clover but now I use OpenCore and haven't had any sleep issues yet. Posting the new EFI for Big Sur Beta 2 soon (Will work on Catalina too)..?

To get the Apple Applications working, you need to add system parameters like serial number, etc. You can do these with tutorials all over the internet. I cannot post an external link here. Make a google search and then you can easily find a tutorial to do it. Also, please don't fully quote the OP from next time.
-
I think this has to do with RTCMemoryFixup.kext. That's alright, you got the hackintosh working perfectly. Enjoy!

Use the following link to configure your system's SMBIOS correctly (The tutorial is old but good enough to follow) - https://www.tonycrapx86.com/threads/guide-how-to-configure-your-systems-smbios-correctly.198155/ I have already semi-configured the system definition in config.plist and just generate new serial number and rt variables. Go to System Preferences->Energy Saver->Check Show battery status in menu bar. If the battery is not charging fully upto 100%, then probably you have Conservation Mode 'ON' in Lenovo Vantage App in Windows.

UPDATE : 06/06/2020 1. Clover EFI Updated to r5119. 2. Some Minor Tweaks to Run on latest Catalina 10.15.5 (Including the Supplemental Update). 3. Added AudioDxe.efi and XhciDxe.efi to /drivers/BIOS/ 4. Added Lenovo Theme to Clover. Please note : 1. I have dual-booted my laptop’s Operating Systems on Seperate Drives (Windows on 1st and macOS on another). Therefore, if you have dual-booted the Operating Systems on same drives, you might want to make some changes to the EFI Folder. 2. Make changes to the SMBIOS and System Parameters accordingly to Sign In to Apple Account and iCloud Services. Download Link : See OP. Download the latest uploaded zip file.

Hello Sir, I am having problems while configuring my Laptop's drivers. I tried the Clover Folder according to my Chipset but it won't boot. So I used the EFI from Catalina Image and tweaked it up a little. Things that are working alright are Video, Sound, Touchpad (Gestures not working correctly). Please help me configure the laptop's WiFi (As it is my current utmost priority I guess). It has Broadcom BCM943228HMB and I also have Atheros QCWB335 Chip as extra if either one doesn't work. It would also be helpful if you solve other minor problems in it if they are present. Thanks in Advance! RunMe Zip Link - http://s000.tinyupload.com/index.php?file_id=06268468288852727490

I bought the Broadcom Wi-Fi Chip online from AliExpress. You can find it there easily and at reasonable cost.

Okay, the Manufacturer is same i.e. Synaptics but the hardware model is different. You may have to patch your DSDT to get all the gestures working or use Voodoo Kext to make basic gestures work. Use the following link for guide - https://Olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=46&t=8087
-
Which HP laptop do you have? Get the details for your Trackpad Manufacturer (Synaptics, ELAN, etc) cause they might not be the same as my Lenovo Laptop.
-
Do you have the same configuration as mentioned in the OP? Please mention your laptop's configuration.

Greetings! After a lot of work, I finally managed to get a working macOS on Lenovo ideapad 520-15IKB. LAPTOP HARDWARE - CURRENT STATUS - - DSDT Patched for Remapping Brightness Keys and Touchpad Gestures (Big Credit to @MaLd0n). - Everything is working perfectly without any issues so far. - Working EFI Folders linked for Latest versions of macOS Mojave, Catalina and Big Sur 11.1. CURRENT ISSUES WITH BIG SUR - - Slow Boot. Reason : This happens when you are Dual-Booting Windows and macOS and the macOS Disk might not have properly wake up from sleep. Fix : Boot in Windows first and they restart (Don't Shut Down!) and then boot into macOS. INSTALLATION - - Make necessary backups of your files incase something goes wrong. I am not responsible any loss. - Copy the appropriate EFI Folder to the root directory of the EFI Partition of your current macOS version. - Fix the SMBIOS section (Serial No, UUID, etc.). Set Hardware Definition to closest one matching your system. SCREENSHOTS - EFI FOLDER - Lenovo ideapad 520 EFI CFG LOCK/UNLOCK GUIDE - CFG LOCK/Unlocking - Alternative method [CREDIT - @wouter] A Big Thanks to @MaLd0n for helping me every-time and for his wonderful site! Ok Sir, After a lot of work, I was successfully able to make touchpad and keyboard work. Thanks to Mr. hugodantas. His Clover and DSDT really helped a lot. The keyboard is working perfectly with hotkeys workings as well. Touchpad gestures are also working except the three finger gestures. I tried everything but the three finger gestures aren't working. Also, I noticed wake after sleep on battery isn't functioning properly. I have to restart the laptop again. And the battery also drains quickly than normal I guess. Could you please help me, here is my laptop's DSDT - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ljH1cz8KV8vGit0mpas7CD6T9tcX7fQE/view?usp=sharing Edit - Three Finger Drag is working perfectly when I enable it but three finger gestures are not working. Without Drag Lock acts as With Drag lock and With Drag lock works normal.

Thanks for you reply but it didn't work. I tried the DSDT and here were the results - Keyboard - Fn+F1 was changed to Brightness Decrease, Fn+F2 was changed to Brightness Increase and the brightness wasn't even increasing/decreasing with this keys. This keys should have been assigned to Fn+F11 (Brightness Increase) and Fn+F12 (Brightness Decrease). All other Fn+Fn Keys were not working. When I use VoodooPS2Controller, keyboard works fine but only hotkeys work are F1 (Mute Audio), F2 (Decrease Audio) and F3 (Increase Audio) work. Other hotkeys don't work. I only need brightness keys with it to work. Touchpad - No change with DSDT. The GPIO Pinning is difficult but still I tried one time and no results. If you can help me, here is the Screenshot attached in the post regarding the I2C HID Device BIOS Device Name.

Hello Sir, I installed Olarila Mojave 10.14.5 on my Lenovo IdeaPad 520-15IKB (i5-8250U, Intel UHD 620, 16GB, Broadcom Wifi, Realtek Ethernet, ALC 230, Synaptics Trackpad, Lenovo/Alps Keyboard) After a lot of work, I could get all the hardware to work except for Keyboard and Trackpad. Trackpad is working but the gestures are not working, the cursor moves automatically while using trackpad and I have to tap the trackpad to make it stop moving. Keyboard doesn't work at all. At one point when I put VoodooPS2Controller in clover keyboard worked but the hotkeys didn't work. I also tried ApplePS2SmartTouchpad kext but it didn't work at all. Please help me, I need keyboard hotkey's and touchpad (at the most 2 finger touch) to work. Keyboard Mappings (Fn+) - F1 - Mute Audio F2 - Decrease Audio F3 - Increase Audio F4 - Mute Microphone F5 - Refresh F6 - Disable Touchpad F7 - Airplane Mode F8 - Disable Camera F9 - Lock Screen F10 - Projection/Screen Mirroring Options F11 - Decrease Brightness F12 - Increase Brightness In Windows, my keyboard shows as Lenovo Keyboard Device in Device Manager and Driver Provider is Alps. Also, my trackpad is Synaptics Trackpad (Upto 5 fingers). Here is the link for send me zip (Couldn't attach to post cause it is giving Error : File too large) -https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ECnXRtiKEkZIPiYNFj8Yt5_KT_2HLYbL/view?usp=sharing
