I installed with the BigSur 11.4 installation file downloaded directly from the Apple Store, then mounted the EFI folder and copied your folder

Hi MaLd0n,

Thank you for the Pre-made EFi folders....

I am intend to test EFI using USB, later copy to SSD.   The Pre-made EFI for USB vs SSD,  any difference for the performance or tweaks?  just only hardware difference?   I am bit confused which one to choose....

Cheers

K

After almost 2 days of trying, macOS 11.5 cannot be installed and I don't know where the problem is because all problems happen to my system... freeze... black screen (no signal) after verbose mode... or Disk Utility sometimes clickable but not responding.... or grey screen when select Disk Utility then freeze... or macOS start install to SSD but restart when 20 min remaining then SSD is empty again.. or everything lagging sometimes. I really don't know how to describe the problem, just not installing, didn't change anything in EFI USB folder for 500 Series.

BIOS settings, Secure Boot/ Fast Boot/ / Internal GPU/ Erp/ Disabled

Installer USB 2.0 16GB and 32GB stick into USB 2.0 port of motherboard

Connected OLED TV 4K 60Hz with HDMI cable, then ViewSonic monitor 1920x1080 60Hz with another HDMI cable

System specs:

ASUS ROG STRIX Z590-I GAMING WIFI

i9-11900K

Radeon RX 6900XT 16GB

RAM 16GB Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO DDR4 3200 MHz

Hack Pro: Asus Strix Z590i, i9-11900K, RX 6900 XT, 1TB Samsung QVO SSD, RAM 16GB Corsair RGB @3200Mhz (Big Sur) OC

Hackbook Pro: (MSI GE63 Raider RGB) i7-8750H, Intel UHD 630, GTX1070 8GB(disabled), 16GB RAM @2666Mhz (Big Sur) OC
