[HELP] i5 9600K UH630 only 7 MB on Catalina 10.15.5 and 10.15.3

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

I've been trying very hard to make my UHD 630 graphics work properly, but it has been a hell. I already tried to patch the video using the Hackintool with a motherboard similar to mine, even with another ones, but nothing works, it gets stucked at verbose boot. I've tried a lot of methods, including set up the device ID and etcetera on config.plist using Clover Configurator, but still nothing. Already used one of the patches on https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-general-framebuffer-patching-guide-hdmi-black-screen-problem.269149/#Compilation, but guess what: nothing! These last 2 ones boot correctly, but still without graphics acceleration :(

I'm running out of ideas and i hope one of you guys could help me with this, please!!

I've tried these options on both versions: 10.15.5 and 10.15.3

My specs are:

- Motherboard Asus TUF B360M-Plus Gaming

- Intel i5 9600K

- Memory TeamGroup T-Force 8 GB 2666 Mhz

- SSD Kingston A400 120 GB

Hey @ACPI Eater, i've managed to do what you said. I've followed your guide to make a video patch, at the first time wasn't booting, until i figured out that was the flag -igfxvesa that was blocking the hardware acceleration. But when i remove this flag, the system boots almost normally (i can see that now the IGPU its fully recognized on the verbose boot), but it goes to a black screen right after the verbose boot finish.

Hope you can help me, please

Unfortunately doesn't work, i've manage to login the computador using the TeamViewer without the HDMI, verified the hardware acceleration (which is working by the way),  and curiously when i connect the cable (HDMI) the system immediately restart. I'm not sure why this happening, but i hope it has a solution for this. My motherboard has 1 HDMI and 1 DVI, but i don't have a DVI cable neither a Monitor with DVI connection, my monitor has only HDMI and VGA.

What can i do by now, please?

P.S.: curiously the IGPU isn't showed on "About this Mac", but i don't think thats a problem, right?

Here are some images of the system taken using TeamViewer:

By the way: thanks for all your help !!

You we're right, as always hahaha, i need to patch correctly my connectors, but after trying out all the combinations, i've almost give up. The solution for me was to use the Lilu and WhateverGreen posted here and also copy his config.plist Device Properties to my config.plist, only the device properties. After that everything worked successfully, the HDMI with the Hardware Acceleration, finally !!

Need to thank you for all your help, i have some difficult to get what i need, but at the end everything ended well. It was a pretty hard hackintosh, i was expecting something easier hahaha.

For those ones who has the same motherboard, i'm gonna leave my config.plist below.

config.plist.zip
