mohammad imran Posted June 5, 2021 Posted June 5, 2021 @MaLd0n First of let me say a big thank you for this community this has been th smoothest install i have come across till date . i have successfully installed catalina in my dell inspiron 3521 laptop but i have some issues . There is no audio and mic detected i have follwed the alcid tutorial and in kept alcid=1 in boot args but still no audio. but my biggest problem is if i keep the laptop idle for sometime it goes to sleep and doesn't come out if i press any key on keyboard or with mouse i had to press the power button to wake it up . after it wakes up its unresponsive and i need to do a hard shutdown . i have attached the run me code any help would be appreciated https://filebin.net/pfnddpwzs5nu3j51/Send_me_imrans-MacBook-Air.zip
shindou01 Posted June 5, 2021 Posted June 5, 2021 @MaLd0n, Thank you for the fully patched DSDT. I've tested it and it works really well. I've removed all SSDTs and added ECEnabler.kext and battery indicator works as well. If I boot to my Manjaro Linux directly from OpenCore however, my keyboard and trackpad doesn't work {when I get to the login screen, I haven't tried USB keyboard - mouse yet since I left it at the office. So for the moment I'm using rEFInd to boot to Linux but I'm reading Dortania's guide trying to find the most suitable method to use on my laptop. If you have any suggestions or links to point me to the right direction I'd be glad to give it a shot. Cheers

I will include a link to Google Drive and hopefully you will help me. I saw that you perfected a "GA Z590 Vision D with Thunderbolt" build, so I went ahead and got one hoping that it would work. Unfortunately my i/o is all messed up and thunderbolt doesn't work at all (which I really need). I tried using the USB tutorial video, but that resulted in none of the USB working. Also my ethernet says "self assigned Ip..." which will not connect to the internet, and the wifi doesn't work either. Nothing that I've tried has fixed any of this. I've zipped the screenshot of my donation. Below is the link to my google drive. I really hope that you can help and that I understand how to make this work.
