i am trying to migrate my EFI from clover to OC. everything works fine for me in Clover back then. but OC gave me headache since battery indicator dont works and trackpad not shown in setting preference.

my laptop is probook 440 G5 with i5 8250u. i am on mojave 10.15.6.

yes. i kill it. u can press barspace to wake or add a simple OEM _prw into device LID/LID0

Pode por gentileza fazer uma DSDT para OpenCore?

PS: Tenho uma NVMe ligado no PCI-e com o sistema, ele está aparecendo como drive externo, acho que tem um patch de DSDT que torna ele e os HDs como interno, correto? Pode colocar?

hi,

I've successfully installed mojave on my laptop.

It's from a Brazilian brand called positivo.

 Here's the link to my "send me" file

My system works fine but I have the following issues:

- No audio;

- No wifi (I'll try some tips from YouTube);

- No Screen bright control;

- Do not know if it is possible remap function keys (brightness,  volume control, etc, but it is not mandatory).

ur card is full load. in hackintosh dont appears in system profiler but work. many people use a apple firmware for that

Appears to be working as expected now, close lid, wait, sleep. Wait a few seconds, open lid, laptop wakes.

Thank you, appreciate your work.

 

Now I can go through the DSDT and add the if (_OSI) to stop the patches items from being loaded in windows and Linux.

I used the dortania guide as it seemed easy and olarila decides to give me kernel panics when I use the Broadwell chipset OC folder.

I am using OpenCore 0.5.9 on my HP notebook 14 am036na

I am having the following problems.

1. System restarts if put to sleep.

2. Hangs if shutdown.

3. I have confirmed that I have ALC282 from linux but none of the layout IDs work. So I used VoodooHDA. If possible I would like that to be fixed too.

4. The battery indicator is not working. (I have placed the ACPIBatteryManager.kext in OC/Kexts and updated the config.plist)

5. Brightness control works as it was in the guide provided by dortania(Github). Although I really doubt it will work if I remove the ssdts.

6. Also not a requirement but it will be useful to fix the volume control keys.

 I tried to fix the battery indicator from the patch provided but it seems all of my EC fields are defined as buffer fields (or that is what I gathered at least) so I am lost.

I got it to install on an ASUS VivoBook X510U-BQ167T, but I can't get the video card (Intel HD 620) to work properly, everything runs a little slow. And the wifi does not work too. I'm booting through pen drive, because I couldn't use the config2.plist on Clover. Any help would be appreciated.
