Core i5 Skylake IntelHD 520 8GB DDR3L Samsung EVO 860 512GB SATA SSD - Seagate 1TB SSD I've patched the DSDT for battery but I'm currently relying on SSDTs for other stuff and after updating to BigSur I've lost the screen brightness slider so my brightness keys no longer work. It used to work in Catalina with SSDT-PNLF.aml and applebacklightfixup.kext. I've tried to update applebacklightfixup.kext and using various builds of SSDT-PNLF (downloaded from Dortania and other sources) and still couldn't get it to work. Am I missing something? I've looked trough Hackintool and it shows that my laptop screen is not detected as internal (check box is unticked), and I'm thinking this is probably the cause. Do you know how to mark it as internal? I still haven't been able to get fan controls to work since current virtualSMC extensions seem to not yet detect the CPU fan yet...
