my work in progress new laptop.

Lenovo S540 14

i7 10510u with IGPU

12GB RAM (4 soldered + 8 dimm)

1TB Samsung nvme (not compatible)

512GB Sata SSD

Mojave 10.14.6

NO WIFI OR BT YET!

using olarila EFI folder. No sleep, no sound, display reported as 30,5 inch

 

Would be great if somebody could clean up the DSDT!

Hey MaLd0n!

I'm trying to get battery stats working for a HP Probook 440G5, I think I uploaded the correct run me file, however, I think I may have the wrong one uploaded, my brain is not functioning well these days due to illness :(  I can't seem to attach my run me file for some reason either??

Hi Maldon,

I need keyword's backlight. FN keys are not functional. I tried DSDT patch and a few kext but I was not successful. Could you help me please?

Thanks man,

 

works better now.

Sleep/wake seems to work good

Backlit keys work now

Graphics performance is much better

Restart/Shutdown working

 

Still no sound - changed to layout 15 I get internal speakers shown, I can turn the volume up and down but no sound is coming out(CX8070), the mic is reacting to voice also. In AudioMidiSetup app is the master volume turned down and I can't do anything to turn it up.

Trackpad not working at all.

WiFi/BT card is going to be replaced with DW1560

Touchpad works really weird(toofast)

Wifi not working with Atheros AR928x <- I hope that's the one. Connection search loop

Not sure about Quadro card but I think injecting will fix it

Sound not working

Forgot to add CMOS Reset thing my bios does every mac restart.

 

Injecting nvidia with web driver didn't help, system info reports intel hd 4600.

Not working off WIFI / BT(be replaced, atm on way from eBay), GTX1650 (working UHD intel 630), Touchpad 

atm on Mojave 10.14.6, I can't install this normal way, but I got some installed image when I tested my Skylake laptop and here I just replace EFI folder. So, system atm booted from external USB3.0, also waiting for adapter for 2,5 SATA disk (inside NVMe m2)

battery ok, sound ok. brightness not, or maybe I don't know where is mapped.

Just need check and hope u do urs magic, Mald0n :) and I offer u another beer :D

check bios/uefi if have advanced option for trackpad
