DSDT patch requests

Hello artur-pt,

I installed 10.7.2 successfully using the dsdt you provided last week. Thanks.

The only things not working is:

1- Trackpad not found (scrolling on the touchpad not working)

2-Webcam shows in system information under usb but not working (only shows the spinnig wheel in photobooth)

Beside these two things everything is working perfectly.

Please let me know if you can think of any fixes. My sendme.zip is attached.

that is nothing to do with dsdt

trackpad u need a proper kext for it

some cam work native.. others don't work at all

to the cam.. maybe a third part app like mac cam

I'll try to find proper kexts for trackpad and webcam. Patching the dsdt was very noble.

Hello,

I installed OSX Mavericks 10.9.2 on my Acer Extensa 5630EZ laptop. Most of things working nicely, except the sound. I've tried installing different audio drivers from multishit and tested many kind of kexts i've found from internet, but no success.

So I quess my DSDT have to be edited to get OSX to recognize my audio device. Tried that, but I can't compile the edited DSDT because of errors. Actually it seems to have 3 errors already, although i didn't change anything. And every time there's 2 errors which just can't be fixed.

So I'm asking if someone would do me a big favor and patch my DSDT for me?

Exctracted DSDT: dsdt.zip

 

Needed audio codec is ALC 888S (Realtek).

Specs:

Intel Core 2 Duo 2,16GHz

4Gt 666MhHz DDR2 SDRAM

Intel GMA 4500M

PS. I would also need help with resolution. (Now I can use only 1024 x 768.) Any advice?

Thank you so much for help.

DSDT seems to work, Intel HDA with audio id=12 popped up in my system settings.

So I tried two kexts to get audio working, but no success with those, received only kernel panic.

I quess i didn't catch you there completely. How do i know the layout id of the kext?

If there's no AppleHDA ALC888s 10.9.2 kext with the same layout as DSDT, can i change the kext's layout somehow?

Or could it be easier to change it from DSDT file to make it match with the kext?

Sorry, I'm just confused.

Minha placa de vídeo não funciona de jeito nenhum, engraçado o OSX achou ela certinha, com VRAM e tudo, mas apenas tenho a resolução baixa e sem aceleração de vídeo :/

Então, já usei uns 500 métodos, agora tenho o Sistema da nvidia Instalado, que pelo menos ele carrega os drivers da nvidia, mas mesmo assim ainda não tenho aceleração e nem consigo mudar resolução.

Por isso agora parti para o DSDT, vamos ver se alguma alma caridosa patchea para mim.

Olha que engraçado, nas informações do sistema ..aparece todos os dados da placa de vídeo, tudo certinho, vai entender..

Já uso isso desde o começo, e nada, tudo funciona direitinho, pelo menos até agora.. Mas a aceleração da placa e as resoluções nada feito.

Olá artur, pode n combinar, mas que está funcionando está, apenas estou com problema no video, mas ele reconhece por inteiro, n sei porq n funciona :/

Você pode usar uma imagem mais pura ( daqui do forum) e ir modificando ela.

Essa imagem que usa vem com modificações que você nem pode mudar.

Does anyone have a good DSDT for the ASUS Z87-A motherboard? Specifically, I am having an issue with onboard ALC892 audio, no audio devices show up under sound preferences.

I have tried ALL of the different .kext files from insanelymac but none of them seem to work. I would deeply appreciate any help!

if u have also intel hd .. that one should work

so do nothing in graphics.. but all the rest is done..

to see more about the graphics.. run this after u boot with this dsdt
