DSDT patch requests

Post in this topic if you want someone to patch your DSDT, please don't open a new topic, unless you are trying to learn how to do it yourself and need help.

You must attach the "Send me" file created (in desktop) by RunMe.app and say what you need to be patched (the problem you expect to solve).

If you have no idea why you need a patched DSDT, then you probably don't need one. Forget about using *beast and do the post installation as described in this topic.

This script extracts ACPI tables (iasl), boot-log, device-properties (gfxutil) and SMBIOS (dmidecode) from ioreg dumps. Drag a "Send me" folder to the app if you want to help someone.

 

I want to disable nvidia in os x without disabling it in bios

i have attached my generated ssdt and dsdt and i am looking to do it like mentioned in the link in post 27...

@artur-pt nvidia still not disabled.....!

My graphics card ssdt file was ssdt-5 aml why you renamed it to ssdt-1.aml

Did whatever you said. and my system restarts once i delete null cpu ..dont know why?

i did what u ask for nvidia, the name is not important.. is a sequence

why u use mabookcair smbios ?

what cpu u have

maybe bad bios set (do a default in ur bios)

check only if ahci is enabled

Which smbios should i use...?

It is i5-3337u.

Hello, can you help with a patched DSDT for Supermicro X8SAX? I am having several issues and a patch doesn't seem to exist...

- PCIe EVGA Nvidia 9400 GT 1024MB card not being recognized properly

- iBoot for snow leopard works okay, but multishit will only boot successfully in safe mode. Otherwise it hangs and the screen goes black immediately after:

AppleSMBusPCI:: start failed to get acpi path for provider

NVDANV50HAL loaded and registered

DSMOS has arrived

screen goes black, monitor goes to sleep, nothing happens and need to do a hard reset.

- Audio does not work ALC883

- plugging in a USB hard drive once the system is booted up causes an instant kernel panic

My specs are:

i7 2600k

HD3000

Intel 320 Serie SSD 120GB

ASUS P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3

CMZ16GX3M4A1600C9 Corsair Vengeance 1600mhz 16gb 4*4

I just made a fresh installation of SL 10.6 installed with iBoot and original Snow leopard dvd.

How should i proceed from now? Ive tried for more than a week now and the best result i got was a fully functioning mavericks but couldnt get it to see my HD3000, I hope you guys are more noob friendly here

I would be happy to buy you a couple of beers (paypal) as thanks for helping me

I am one step closer, thank you I am able to boot in safe mode... but that disables the graphic acceleration of course... still freezing in the same spot without the -x flag... any ideas?

More info... i was able to boot with -v -f into Snow Leopard... things appear to be working normally... but without the -f... doesn't happen.

Hi artur-pt,

I'm using a dsdt you patched for intel hd graphics. The graphics is working real good but sometimes I get KP related to ionetworking(alexethernet) and Ioaudio (voodoohda). I'm wondering if you could patch my dsdt with:

1-voodoohda V 2.7.2 for the VIA VT2021

2- alexethernet

3- atheros AR9285 wifi

My dsdt is attached.

in ioreg don't see nothing wrong

if u are using one of the last chameleon,, install all kext in system/library/extensions no Extra/Extensions

and take shots from about this mac

Hi artur-pt,

Thank you very much, the dsdt is working really good (no kp after several reboots). The only issue now is brightness control. It is not working after boot or restart (the screen is dimmed, moving the slider has no effect). I have to put the laptop to sleep and wake up to get brightness control working, it was the same with the previous dsdt. Please see if something can be done about it.

u can be happy if only that issue.. hd 2500 is no proper support.. it works with kext for hd 4000
