i can see nothing wrong with ur dsdt..


maybe u are using a wrong applehda.. maybe old version .. i think that applehda is old .. are u using any enabler ?


see in giga site ur audio codec


and see if any kext in here is for ur alc

Here is my send "me xxx.zip".

Request the patch to

(1) make sleep/wakeup work.


Problem

(1) click "sleep" the screen goes dark but HDD/SSD/BlueTooth indicate is still on. It does not seems to go to sleep.

(2) set sleep timer for certain time. the laptop goes to sleep (HDD/SSD/BlueTooth indicator all dark.

It is really sleep but can not wake up by hitting KB, mouse,.trackpad..... or power button.

I do not want to sound over mainboard audio ports, working perfectly!!


I want to sound from hdmi-port of AMD 7970!


the appleHDA kext is but for main board-audioports?

okay, maybe you can help me anyway , Even the Problem is Not the DSDT ! the Sound of the motherboard works well. but what i need is the the Sound of my AMD 7970 from the HDMI Port because my tv is connected to it.

my question is, the AppleHDA Kext is just for the onboard Sound and Not for the Sound of the HDMI Port. isnt it ?? or i'm wrong ? greetz

sorry to report back late. sleep/wake work very well. however it seems only power button can wake up. if I hit KB, trackpad, PS2 mouse, no response from laptop. I will try more experiment and report back.

Hi There,


Please patch my DSDT so my Gateway Desktop can sleep/wake properly. It is 1st generation i3.

I already remove NullCPU, FakeSMC,... The system boot ok. when sleep, the screen go dark. but I can tell that it does not really sleep. hdd us is spinning, and power LED stay solid.

I copy it to /Extra/DSDT.aml

The power button response and ask me if i want to sleep/shutdown, after click sleep, screen goes dark

but I notice that the CPU fan is still running, 2nd HDD is spinning down(cant tell if SSD is sleep). until I wake system and access the HDD again.

so it seems that CPU does not goes to sleep. also the power LED stay solid, unlike laptop, the LED is blinking when sleep.
