Hi, im on laptop brand medion akoya, whiskey lake - cpu i5 8265u UHD620, im using self made DSDT.aml some time ago (probably not well corrected), my main problem is when i cold reboot from windows the sound doesnt work, the icon and sound propeties are all ok but no sound, googling i found some peolpe with the same problem fixing with some patches in codec comander that arent for my codec alc 235, i try modifing codec comander but failed with my skills :( , other minor problems for me are volume and brightness keys are wrong, osd icon appears and stays freeze, other keys have bad assignement, i hope maybe good DSDT can help me , here is my sendme extracted in no sound session , cya.

Segue em anexo meu arquivo gerado pelo RunMe. Junto com ele está o DSDT gerado por mim, que tenho quase certeza que está errado, pois não fez diferença nenhuma nos PCIs do macOS.


Apenas algumas dúvidas:

* Quando o DSDT é gerado e adicionado na pasta patched, a lista de dispositivos PCI deveria estar preenchida?

* Teria como ver se minha iGPU está configurada corretamente (Intel HD Graphics 630)?

* Minha SMBIOS está configurada corretamente, levando em consideração a dGPU (Radeon RX 540) e o processador (Kaby Lake)?

My sleep was working fine just before placing this DSDT file in ACPI/patched folder in EFI folder. The system was very slow and boot was taking more time so I deleted the DSDT.aml from the patched folder and everything is working normal now. Now I have run the runme.app and attached the newly generated zip file. Thank u so much for the support.

Thanks, pci devices are well identified (audio, display and brigthness-audio keys are working good), but not battery status (using fakesmc and ACPIBatteryManager) and trackpad (dont know kext).

Can you help me?

Hi again after some trys, i boot with Olarila folder but only with my config.plist, nothing more touched, with default config plist cant boot, tried with/witouth kexts and some trys more but cant boot, here is the sendme with Olarila folder + my config.plist boot, sendme file was 3,3 mb so i split in 2 files, clover at 1 zip and all other files on other zip, cya.

Hello I'm currently new in this.

my spec is intel i5 8th gen, 12 gb ddr4, intel uhd 620 and Nvidia geforce mx130

so my current problem is the battery is always shows 0% although I full charged it. and the second one is the brightness slider is not showing on display menu. thank you in advance and have a nice day

Hi Maldon, i disabled integrated graphics, it seems like it is booting now but there is no display just a blank screen. Have tried multiple ports, hdmi and each dp.

Sir I removed the weg kext and applealc but boot time remains the same. Only thing happened after removal of 2 kexts are no audio. I replaced the 2 kexts audio got working ..to be precuse apple alc kext. The boot time is now 50seconds I am using an hdd..so i believe that changing to ssd will solve the problem. But after placing the dsdt sleep is getting problems. Could u plz fix that...

Hi, Not new to the forum but yeah have been following many threads in the forum,

Finally Installed Catalina on my HP Pavilion G6 1202tx

i3 2330m processor and hd 3000 graphics,

attaching the sendme files, in hope of someone, to provide the patched dsdt,

i cant use brightness keys and brightness slider doesnt work too, no battery percentage, card reader not working.

Thanks in advance for anyone willing to help me.

Also i have a request if someone can provide a screen recording while patching dsdt so that i can try to do it myself for later releases.
