Thanks it worked! Finally I re-flashed my USB stick for installation, made a clean vanilla install (it went fine with some boot flags) and installed Chameleon on my HDD with your DSDT. The HD4000 is working perfect but there are a few things which are not working :

- Audio (I tried a VoodooHDA kext but it didn't work, my chipset is ALC663)

- Webcam

- Wifi (my card is an Atheros AR9485 and I can't find any kexts, I think there aren't)

- Multimedia keys and scrolling on trackpad (well it's not very important though)

Do you think there are DSDT patches for these things, or kexts, or no solution?

Thanks

I made progress:

I installed clover to see if the sleep issue, restart and shutdown has something to do with the bootloader that I use.Same results with chameleon and clover.

I "Disabled" "USB Legacy" (in description is mentioning support for mouse and keyboard) in my bios.(now restart and shutdown works and are instant)

Now I can't use my keyboard in the chameleon menu.

The computer will sleep now, but there is a but, it will not wake up from keyboard(I checked to see if it has to do with the Disabled function USB Legacy in my bios, I can still wake up windows with my keyboard even with USB Legacy Off in my bios ).

The computer is waking up and resuming if I push the power button, and another but, my display is in stand by(I checked if the computer is frozen, but I hear sounds when I press the volume keys on my keyboard) and I have to reboot.

I messed with darkwake and usbbusfix and I see no changes.

I still get this:

ACPI: sleep states S3 S4 S5

USBF: 2.688 AppleUSBEHCI::CheckSleepCapability - controller will be unloaded across sleep

USBF: 2.689 AppleUSBEHCI::CheckSleepCapability - controller will be unloaded across sleep

USBF: 2.756 AppleUSBOHCI::CheckSleepCapability - controller will be unloaded across sleep

USBF: 2.768 AppleUSBOHCI::CheckSleepCapability - controller will be unloaded across sleep

I can see that only the first two lines are AppleUSBEHCI and the rest are AppleUSBOHCI

Sometimes I get this USBF: 0.261 We could not find a corresponding USB EHCI controller for our OHCI controller at PCI device number19

My OSX will behave the same even with the additional error above.

My motherboard has 4 USB at the back and some internals "3 x USB 2.0 connector supports additional 6 USB 2.0 ports ".

So I have 10 USB ports in total and 10 AppleUSBOHCI errors, and 2 AppleUSBEHCI errors(in bios I have the option to disable "USB EHCI Controller" the description says "support for the usb 2.0".

My GPU is ATI 4870.

I timed the sleep to easily collect info from the Console and I got this after I press the power button to wake up the computer:

I removed NullCPUPowerManagement.kext some time ago and still get this in the boot process:

and in terminal after I execute "kextstat" I can find :

13 0 0xffffff7f80cb8000 0x2000 0x2000 org.tgwbd.driver.NullCPUPowerManagement (1111) <7 4 3>

-----------------

And I have this too:

1/2/14 5:53:13.000 PM kernel[0]: Refusing new kext com.apple.driver.AppleRTC, v2.0: already have prelinked v1111.0.

( I have "Patched_10.7_AppleRTC.kext" that came with MyHack, I am on 10.9 )

In org.chameleon.Boot.plist I have : Generate P and C states, Enable C2 C 3 C4 States, CST Using SystemIO

----------------------------------

For now I did a workaround to get my display to wake up after sleep, with a combination of 2 different "vga to dvi adapters"(they don't behave the same) 1 is connected to act like a dummy(its really really weird from my point of view) and by moving my monitor on the right side port on my 4870 .

_________________________________________-------------____________________________

So the only thing that is left is the wake up from my keyboard.

I don't use any dsdt.aml right now

I can get sound with voodoohda, but the volume is really low, and If i use "Gain" from settings I start to hear noise.

I experimented with my dsdt and applehda to get them working, last thing that happened was KP, and the best thing that I can get is

"Intel High Definition Audio: DeviceID:12(I suppose is the layout 12 from the dsdt) in System Informations.

I don't have any working applehda.kext so I modified one with different data and I got nothing.

I got everything I think to make it work:codec_dump.txt, codec_dump.txt.svg, codec_dump_dec (etc), device and vendor ids from Aida64, pin configs from voodoohda that I modified.

I need some assistance with this, because I don't know now if AppleHDA is not working because of the kext or dsdt, I want some basic functions with AppleHDA.

I am on Mavericks 10.9

Hello,

after two years digging in OSX and DSDT, i still got erratic wake after sleep (1/4 black screen) with 10.9.1.

I've got a pretty old mobo (P5Q deluxe) with a 8800gt that should match a MacPro 3.1.

Attached my current DSDT if a guru could see something i missed ...

thanks in advance.
