Hi,

Im having problems to start pc without using NullCPUPowerManagement because i get panic of AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.

When i try to make custom dsdt i have an error of External(\TNOT) already exists,i delete the line or rename to (\NOT), save using MACIASL app but then when i open again the dsdt.aml file i compile again the same error because this External(\TNOT) is automatically generated.

Things that are not working:

Sleep,

LID sleep

I dont know if CPU SpeedStep is working correct?!

Brightness

Thank you for help

Best Regards

37, 4057, Name already exists in scope (\TNOT)[/b]

Please if you know guide me to solve it, as i explained before, i delete but again it's generated automatically in .aml file?!

IF there's no solution for it, then can i used this dsdt with this error?!

Thank you

If you mean for External (_TNOT).txt in Notebook Core i Nehalem folder, then yes, i opened my dsdt.aml with MaciASL->Patch-> then patched and complied it's ok, when i close and reopen the dsdt.aml file again the same, i dont know where's the problem, even if i download any dsdt.aml file from people who confirmed that they worked to me it shows this error?!

Is it related to anything regarding notebook, all i can say is that my battery is dying so im using it always plugged in.

Thank you all,i tried DSDT SE but no success again,so seems problem is deeper.

Anyway i just wanted to know if it works even with that error because i thought that dsdt.aml wont compile while trying to load it or if it would lead to infinit loop if it was loaded.

So i'll give a try now how it's going with that dsdt

Thank you

Does it mean that if i use custom dsdt you send i cant use lapic fix, because its fixing cpus=1 problem

And i think when i used dsdt you sent and original mach_kernel and remove NullCpu... I get waiting for root device problem?!

Thank you

That dsdt is causing problem with still waiting for root device since it seems its not for hp.

Tried patching AICP but after few seconds when i come to desktop happens Kernel panic and pc restarts?!

hello

no dsdt patch for lapic fix

is a hp problem.. hp is not the best machine to do a hack

so u must use always the lapic fix or a modified kernel...
