I’m stuck here after rebooting. I used iMac15,1 in SMBIOS until now and it booted perfectly. After i applied the dsdt patch, i didn’t do anything else, but stuck here. So I input the following settings in clover options to be able to boot it:


Boot args: -no compat check

SMBIOS ProductName: iMac15,1

BoardType: iMac15,1

Binaries patching: Kernel PM enabled

AppleIntelCPUPM Patch disabled

AppleRTC Patch disabled


And it boots normally. Is something wrong with the dsdt?

Hi, thanks for ur Answer, but I have now changed everything. I´m on High Sierra now. With the Latest Driver installed on BIOS and Kext´s

I will make a new send me File and Attach it here, when u can check this :D

Hello! I'm installing Mojave in a Sony Vaio SVS1311L9E.

I'm doing great, but I don't have wifi and I think I'm having problems with trackpad (right click and the light touch to simulate the left click press not working)

I don't know if graphics are ok, apparently the screen it's ok but I supose I should install the geforce nvidia driver.


I followed the step-by-step guide here, and everything went good. Now I'm following this DSDT point, so here is my file.


PS: Ask me for any info you need and I'll search it. Sorry I'm a bit noob with hackingtosh :3 and sorry for my english.

hey MaLd0n,

I've worked really hard at getting this old mobo to run high Sierra.

has taken me about two weeks. finally I have an Olarila High Sierra image installed, I'm stoked!

it would be an amazing end to the project if you could please patch a DSDT for me.

apologies for continually posting regarding this board, I'm sure you have seen it before here and on FB.

It's my birthday tomorrow, and I would love to get this fully, 100% working, if you deem it necessary after looking at the runme files.

I understand I probably can't get this PCI wifi card working.

I really appreciate all the help you have given me regarding my other projects.

I couldn't have gotten this far without the help of Olarila and yourself.

I used it, everything looks okay, thank you! I'm trying to enable audio over DisplayPort now. I've read a lot of forums on the subject, the only one which I'm tempted to follow is this https://Olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=62&t=9275

I managed to get sound output only though the front jack by injecting ID 4 in clover. I did that after searching on the wiki of AppleALC on the supported codecs. I already installed AppleALC.kext and Lilu.kext. The guide involves patching though and I'm not sure I want to try it. Is there any other way to enable DisplayPort audio coming out of HD4600?


(I don't know if this is the wrong thread to post this to. If so, I'm sorry.)

Okay, I have tried the newest DSDT and your clover folder, but replaced the voodooi2c kext as you said. Touchpad still does the same, still doesn't show up in system preferences. The audio does not work with injecting values 2, 3, 230, and also does not work using Detect.

Adding the OEM SSDT-6 doesn't fix the error. I tried the one extracted from Clover as well as Patchmatic. :?

Help with Dell XPS 13 9343 FHD please


I've copied a dump from avatecer on tonycrap which has gotten me 99% done.


3 issues;

[list=]No audio after cold boot - Works fine after restart but otherwise have to load Ubuntu live USB to restore

Battery life is pretty poor compared to Windows and Ubuntu

Backlight defaults to max on restart

 

I just updated the BIOS to A18 incase that may have fixed audio so it'll be different to the patched ACPI.


Also, with the audio, noticed I had a similar issue to someone else where it showed 2 devices so HDMI audio may be causing a problem. I don't know if they got it resolved but they may not be on 14.4

 

Audio tuning,

Choose options to tune the HDA devices

Number of Audio Controllers=2

1) Intel Broadwell HDA Controller [8086][160C]

2) Intel Wildcat Point-LP HDA Controller [8086][9CA0]
