Add the lines below in Clover's kext to patch.

Edit: You did not have voodooI2C kexts in clover nor do you have a patched DSDT in your clover patched folder.

I also suggest you open a new thread post.

Please check my file now, I changed the kext files and checked the patches, I didn't know that I had to press f4 key

there's voodooi2c kext 2.0.1 version and elan satellite

I have an Asus P5K WS motherboard that does not boot without a patched DSDT.aml It says waiting for root device then it garbage the text on the screen. I am planning to install Mojave on it. I attached the DSDT.aml extracted from the F4 of cloverDSDT.txt just rename it to aml

I don't know what to patch it with

Hi everyone, and thanks for everything you do!

I'm very newbie here, so I send you the SENDME file, can you help me what I have to do?

(the system works very good)

for now the problems are:

-audio come out only from HDMI and can't use volume keys on keyboard

-usb 3.0 and I think 3.1 don't works on front panel but only from direct onboard on moBo (EDIT: when I connect USB drive also on the direct mobo the drive is not recognize in Disk Utility and any else, but in the same USBPort the mouse unifyng wireless of logitech works good)

I've used your Mojave guide to decent success in building my hack. Thank you!

But I need help with DSDT patching.

My x79 Biostar board is working quite well, except for power management and sleep. I've read your comments on other forums that sleep is difficult with x79 and Mojave, so no worries there.

Power management or speed step would be good, I think I am constantly running at 3.8ghz on this E5-1650.

Other big issue is I can't get my 7950 to be the primary GPU. If it is the only GPU, it boots to black screen. I need to keep an nVidia P2000 in slot 1 and 7950 in slot 2. Will a patched DSDT help fix this? I want to upgrade to an RX580. I tried with a friend's RX480 and had the same result, black screen right before login window.

I am using a Huanan X79 DSDT I found somewhere which seems to work well. I've also added the origin folder.

Using SMBIOS 6.1.

I have problems with brightness and no brightness control is available. battery icon is missing. Also sound card (ALC 269VC) is not worked by default but I use voodooHDA but they are not worked perfectly. And I have wifi card builtin (AR9485) which is not supported as far as I know. And lastly graphics, graphics detects if I open my laptop from complete shutdown state. But if I reboot or switch one os to Mac then graphics is not worked correctly.

I have samsung NP300E5EV laptop. with HD4000 intel corei5 3210M 2.5GHz with 4GB Ram. no dedicated gpu.

Hi MaLd0n,

Thanks for looking into my issue, but when I use the patched DSDT, I am unable to boot. I've attached images of where the boot gets stuck. This happens with the AMD 7950 or the nVidia card. I can press the space bar when it is stuck, but it basically keeps looping through that AppleKeyStore: Operation Failed lines.

Hi guys i am an old reader in the forum and now i want some help with my new notebook is the best laptop that my money can buy it is an Acer F5 573G 75A3 im having issues with backlight - ITS THE ONLY THING THAT I WANT WORKING and its not working LOL if someone can patch using this guide the points that i want its

- backlight patch working

- check if nvidia patch its disabled (optional) i am using the intel but sometimes i think its using nvidia
