Hello

Edited DSDT with Shutdown.

Removed nullAICPM and pached AICPM start without issues

I'd like to patch Sleep and Speed Step also Realtek audio and Sd Card

My Specs are:

ASUS X53E

MOBO K53E

i5 2410M

Sandybridge

Intel HD 3000

my info:

HP dv5t 1000

Mac OS X 10.8.2

problems:

CPU:

detected: Dual-Core Intel Xeon @ 2.8 GHz

in reality: Core 2 Duo P8600 @ 2.40GHz

Ethernet:

not detected: Realtek RTL8168

Audio:

not detected: in Win it is written as IDT / in Linux as HDA Intel (STAC92xx)

Card reader:

not detected: JMicron Card Reader JMB38X (although it comes with 1394a OCHI controller and FireWire 400 is correctly detected)

Well, I did:

1) deleted /Extra/nullcpupowermanagement.kext

2) added dsdt.aml to /Extra (from boot log I can see that it is loaded)

3) added to /Extra/org.chameleon.Boot.plist

The only one change is that now Intel HDA is detected in system information, but in Settings->Sound is still written no devices. Still wrong CPU (actually in boot log it is written correctly), no Ethernet, no Card reader, no actual sound.

read and do more reading about hack mac os x...

probably u don't use the right smbios for u hack

and use system info > hardware here in forum and post dev id and vendor id from the devices don't work or google it

well my dsdt not my processor identifies the P000.P001 is, P002, P003 instead of CPU000, CPU001, CPU002, CPU003 .. and I think that's why it is heated much my laptop ..

Thanks, editing smbios.plist helped me to correct CPU type.

But can you help me a bit DSDT - which patches have you applied? I tryed to patch by myself with DSDT Editor applying all patches from Notebook Core 2 ICH9 folder however I am getting 184 errors which I am unable to fix because of ArrayOutOfBound exception. And even without applying a patch newly extracted DSDT has 7 errors. Maybe I am doing something wrong. because when I tried to extract and compile your DSDT it compiled without errors.

rename it SSDT.aml, SSDT-1.aml and so on

insert it in /Extra

set generate c and p-states=No

dropssdt=yes

and test ...

Those can't be fixed in DSDT, you need to patch the video kext (use the script by modigliani) and update caches

if u have a ivy bridge cpu, must use imac13,1 or macmini6,1 smbios

about hd4000 must inject the right ig-platform-id..... ???????

ethernet built-in is injected in dsdt

Hello,

Can anyone help me with waking from sleep on my laptop? Always wakes up with a black screen. Everything else works after waking up - keyboard, mouse, sound, shut down, but the display does not work.
