Hello,

 

           I am looking for assistance with my MSI Laptop Build. I am happy I have gotten this far, but I am still booting from the USB lol. I made a denotation without realizing that its curtesy to donate when asking for help. So I made another donation. My failed attempts..... I can understand how annoying some people can be and how doing this type of work can also be annoying. Im just tripping off the fact that I have MacOS on this thing, running. I opted for theHigh Sierra because I don't think my hardware is supported on the other OS. There are a number of things that are being logged at the start and shutting down of the laptop. Gloat to my peers about their 1200+ laptops, I would like to get this one running. I did the RUNME thing and it made the zip file attached. Some direction would be amazing. 

          For the most part I am a windows user... I mean.. Linux.. I can get my self around that just fine... but this? waaaaa.... even windows now is so different from windows 2000... Im so over it, I just want to click and clack here and there and get some novelty use out of this old Laptop. HELP ME OBI WAN!

@shl628 It Works Bro only the audio didn't work and i have patched it with MaciASL with layout-id 88 and it works too thank you sooo Much this works for my Laptop Eluktronics Mech-15 in case someone else need help for the same laptop.

Wifi: AR9565(dell wireless1705) not working

Bluetooth: dell wireless 1705 built-in bluetooth( working.. don't know how)

Sound: ALC282 (not working) 

Display: Intel HD4000(wokring out of box)

Touchpad: Not working(stuck after first touch) 

Battery: (indicator working by using olarila notebook folder chipset series 7 but draining much fast)

@shl628 Heya Here's my EFI file with your Config and more CPU Temps works Great and sound too Native with AppleALC just i can't get the battery indicator and volume manage control through my keyboard but everything else works fine.... if someone can help me get those last 2 things working it would be great if not i think it would be okay

I just installed Catalina on my x99 system using olarila image.

That was so quick !! thank you for that !

I still have some weird stuff going on : CPU geekbench score very low, and other stuff.

Can you have a look at my "send me" and make a DSDT ?

I divided the FieldUnitObject battery variable into 8 bits in OperationRegion (ECXP, EmbeddedControl, Zero, 0xFF).

1. When you unzip the compressed file I uploaded, the DSDT.aml file and SMCBatteryManager.kext will come out.

2. Please delete existing DSDT.aml and put my modified DSDT.aml in the Patched folder.

3. Put the SMCBatteryManager.kext file into the Other folder within the Kexts folder.

4. Reboot the laptop and make sure that the battery indicator is displayed normally in the top menu bar. ?

I tried to generate SSDT with your guide here

I put the SSDT.aml into my CLOVER-ACPI-Patched folder

but nothing happened, my processor is still at 3.5 Ghz all the time.

What should I do to activate Power management ?
