Please would you look at my send me file, I have made a small donation.

The main issue is sometimes not booting, I get this error message:

error allocating 0x1196b pages 0x0000000006ef00 alloc type 2

couldn't allocate runtime area

boot failed will sleep for 10 secs before exiting

If I boot from recovery to utilities then choose start up disc and reboot it works

I could not get tiny upload to work so I have used this link:

@MaLdOn , can you check the dsdt you made for me a long ago ?

1) I'm keep getting "AppleACPIPlatform`AcpiOsVprintf> ACPI Error".

2) I'm adding a "pci8086,9cc1" on clover for lpc to work. Is it OK?

3) Could you modify dsdt to wake from sleep when opening lid? Now I have to open lid and press the power button.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Sorry I am new to this.

I have been trying to fix this Samsung since November and I am still not winning.

My system is

Samsung Ultrabook 940X (NP940X3G-K02US)

Intel i5-4200

Intel HD 4400 / HD 4600

8GB RAM

128GB SSD

1. I have been having problems getting the right Graphics... Intel HD Graphics 4400. The memory is saying it is 21 MB. And the graphics is too small. What I did to get the fonts bigger is I ran one-key-hidpi

bash -c "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/xzhih/one-key-hidpi/master/hidpi.sh)"

This gave me a bigger text/font but I know this is wrong because I still do not get options on display to change resolutions.

2. My second problem is with the battery. Most of the time it does not appear but once in a while the battery indicator appears.

3. I had to get the battery working for me to get my trackpad working properly. I do not have any scroll with two fingers.

It says the file I am uploading is too large so I uploaded it to WeTransfer. Here is the link for my Send Me

https://wetransfer.com/downloads/f24f341a48d4784a9ceb873b484c266120191227001810/161696c0f3c73c57d863a721312f69a120191227001810/0e0887

Your help is much appreciated.

Thank you.

Thank you for the EFI unfortunately when it boots I see the verbose screen but then lose the video, it may well continue to boot but I cannot see it.

I am using HDMI lead plugged in to GPU (RX5700 XT) I have tried with internal graphics enabled and disabled both give the same result. If I plug the monitor into the internal graphics the verbose screen crashes shortly after boot.

Thank you so much, it works. I wish that I had asked for help a long time ago instead of struggling.

I have no idea what this boot arg does but I will try to find out. Thanks again, John.
