Hi, can you help me fine tune my Mojave setup please? Everything seems to be working except usb 3.1 bus. Here's the info from a previous install with Sierra:


USB 3.1 Bus:


Host Controller Driver: AppleUSBXHCIPCI

PCI Device ID: 0x2142

PCI Revision ID: 0x0000

PCI Vendor ID: 0x1b21


But not recognized on Mojave, it's an 'ASMedia' usb 3.1 port.


Also not sure what Product Model to use in SMBIOS. "iMac 18,3" and "iMac19,1" can only use HDMI not DisplayPort which I would prefer. Thanks very much.

Hi

I finished installation of Mojave on my PC with Olarila Image and guide, and now I need some help.

PC specs:

Mainboard: Asus P8Z77-V LX

Bios: Upgraded to latest Bios version 2501 (patched with UEFIPatch)

CPU: Intel i5-3570K

Ram: 16GB 1600-DDR3

GPU: Nvidia GTX670 2GB


Some problems that I noticed:

* CPU can not achive turbo freq of 3.8 GHz on load, only 3.6 GHz

* Low CPU score on Geekbench5 (812 and 2630)

* Sleep not works, PC wakes up 1 seconds later after it sleeps

* Low GPU OpenCL Compute score on Geekbench5 (5533)

I need help for patching DSDT/SSDT, solving above problems or any other thing that should be done.

Ola, Tudo bem


Finalizei aqui a minha instalação do Catalina, e parece que tudo esta funcionando mas parece que o boot esta um pouco lento.

Alem disso não consegui habilitar a iGPU..

Hi guru!


I am a troublesome case, please help me, much appreciated :)


Previously I have attempted my own vanilla generic Mojave install, using bits and pieces I have learnt everywhere [config (working ethernet).plist]. Now I have replaced the whole EFI with the one from Olarila, and I noticed the config file is very different indeed. The only reason I am using a USB boot EFI, is that I run 2 different versions of MacOS, and it seems the config requirements are different or else it won't boot. (for example, 10.13.6 won't boot with VirtualSMC, have to stick with FAKESMC)


Regardless, this RUNME is based on fresh install of 10.14.6, and using EFI folder from your site. I have one few issues:


1) No hardware encode for h.264 and h.265, quick sync does not work.

2) Fan shows 65535 for min and max values (Mac speed fan), and I can't control fan speed, I have whiny fans that spins up and down.

3) Ethernet is no longer working (vs. my own exploration config.plist :frantics , as mentioned above)


Could you please help me with this config and DSDT please? :help


Mobo: Asus P8Z77M-PRO 2203 bios

CPU: i7 3770k @ 4.6Ghz

Other specs: 32GB Ram, RX570 4GB, 970 EVO NVME (10.14.6 - current install + 10.13.6 - my own old config.plist)

Hi,

For my PC's configuration some of the builds getting 8000+ score on geekbench. I'm getting 7000+ :!:

I'm using Intel i9-9900k on Gigabyte z390 AORUS ULTRA with Sapphire Radeon RX 580 8GB. Samsung 970 Pro V-NAND m.2 SSD, Corsair Dominator Platinum 16GB RAM.

Bluetooth not working, can't find WiFi, shutdown doesn't work(restarts), too long boot time, bunch of errors and missing stuff.
