[ref]MaLd0n[/ref], You've already patched this once, but I've switched my monitor to a 49" LG super ultra wide, and macOS is reporting 3840x1080 no matter if I change the resolution to scaled 5120x1440 or not. I've created a new send me file with hopes you can make the necessary changes to make macOS report the correct 5120x1440 resolution in "About This Mac" under the "Display" tab. If I go to a website that can check screen my screen resolution, it reports 5120x1440 as my current resolution, but macOS isn't saying that. If I need to switch to a different SMBIOS please let me know. I appreciate everything you've done for me. Send Me file attached below

Boa noite Daniel,


Efetuei a instalação do macOS Catalina no meu Notebook e ficou quase perfeito, porem algumas coisas ficaram pendente:

  • Mouse touchpad do Notebook não está funcionando

 

O meu notebook Avell W1746 MX possui duas placas de vídeo, uma Intel HD 630 e uma Nvidia GF 1070. Mas como optei por usar o macOS Catalina, estou utilizando a HD 630, pois não existem drivers para a GF 1070.

acho que o seu hdmi é na nvidia, como em outros Avel, se for isso mesmo não tem solução pq é optimus

vai no bios/uefi setup e veja se tem o Trackpad Advanced Option, se sim, use em advanced

Having issues with a fresh install of Catalina 15.2.


Spec:


Z390 Designare

RX 5700 XT Saphire Nitro +

i9 9900k


When I try and display 'About this Mac' it crashes every time.
