Hi,

I been trying to edit dsdt to apply few patches but there are some errors in the origin file itself which is preventing me to apply patches or or to even just compile it.

Patchers I am trying to apply-

1) Fixing Multitouch on ELAN touchad

2) Battery Indicator and also to fix ACPI error related to LPB.BAT0 during . I am using MBR as my laptop won't boot on battery with UEFI.

3) Brightness of the screen

Hi, i have a working hackintosh, but not perfect. Sometimes i have little freeze, for example when i open or close one window, it's like it freeze for a moment. Or the mouse pointer that freezes sometimes.

Little things i would to fix for improve my hackintosh. I send the zip get with run me and my efi folder (created with the Olarila app) for to see if it's possible improve dsdt or other

The dsdt seems to work, I still have random freeze regarding com.apple.iokit.IOAHCIBlockStorage

any idea?

RunMe.app can't finish the process, it stops on IOREG and doesn't proceed ....

first of all, I thank you very much for answer my help…

I tried download the patch, put it on efi/clover/acpi/patched

and after that I put voodooI2C and voodooI2CHID on efi/clover/kext/other

and do restart, the result is same. I mean, my trackpad still move on it own until I tap it, it move to the direct the last I use trackpad, and still need to single tap to stop. and the trackpad still not detected on trackpad setting. oh I forgot to mention I am using catalina.

so ya, I need some help .

I aready tried that before ask on this thread, and I even recheck again after you said it after your reply.

 

• first, I dont have "Disable built-in trackpad when…” within accessibility preferences
  
  that mean i2C DEVICE not fully detected right ?

• second, I dont have trackpad or touchpad option in bios

• third, I already delete trackpad and mosue plugin on VoodooPS2Controller kext

• fourth, I never using _DSM patch that to XDSM.ZDSM

• fifth, I already Disable Apple’s I2C kext by include coolstar patch in clover

• sixth, my bios already latest version of bios.

• seventh, I never install kext in S/L/E

 

I am sure I am not missing something. I dont know what happened on my laptop.

Thanks for all your help but I don't understand what you mean by you edited my file. Where do I get the file from? Are you referring to the dsdt.aml.zip file. I'm sorry if this sounds stupid.
