I have a dell Inspiron 7537

with Nvidia GPU and I have installed Sierra on it and want to run intel hd4400 with full acceleration and OpenGL so that I can run mainstage 3 on it.

My main focus is The graphics with full acceleration... If the sounds can work as well then it is just super awesome.

Hello everyone! I have just installed High Sierra in UEFI mode on an Asus CG8250 PC with Asus P8H67-M PRO motherboard (8MB Full UEFI BIOS) to be able to use my Nvidia GTX 1060 video card. I enclose the file generated by RunMe in order to have corrections (DSDT, SpeedStep, etc.) to make sure everything works correctly.


I currently have 2 really unpleasant problems:

1) My motherboard does not see the UEFI disk with High Sierra installed with clover correctly installed in ESP partition. With USB no problem, using pendrive I can boot the system in UEFI mode;

2) I cannot automatically set the use of Nvidia web drivers at startup, if not done manually by clover at startup.

hello sir,

Hiccup Experience with Catalina :

I was previously on Mojave and it was working so great and I have fresh installed this Catalina os but fails to boot offline though keeping exact same options as in my Mojave. I get boot stuck at "apfs module start 1683". I have applied Mojave's perfectly working EFI on Catalina but it didn't worked either. I fixed it by enabling EC0 to EC. so can I know why this option is not required in Mojave but requires in Catalina? my hardware didn't changed though


Currently in Catalina I'm having only 1 problem which is the Mic. when I kept plugged my mic jack into IO panel I'm getting boot panic. apple logo loading upto 30-35% and boot loops. unplugging mic boots fine.

Hi friends - first attempt here. trying to follow along :)


Installed Catalina on 4th gen i7 (Haswell), Z87 Deluxe board, 32GB RAM, Intel HD Graphics 4600 1536 MB


Intel graphics are not giving me max monitor resolution. graphics also glitchy.


dont know what else to share at this time.


any helpful hints appreciated, thank you.

im not an expert at troubleshooting but for the graphics glitchy and stretched out graphics issue i fixed mine by changing smbios. take all your time and try which works best for ur hardware. mine works best @iMacPro

After patching my system, everything is working flawless except my network card. It seems in macOS I’m only getting 10/100 speeds but if I test the same NIC in a Windows 10 VM I’m getting gigabit 100/1000 speeds. Can this be fixed?? Thanks!

Hi,

I been trying to edit dsdt to apply few patches but there are some errors in the origin file itself which is preventing me to apply patches or or to even just compile it.


Patchers I am trying to apply-

1) Fixing Multitouch on ELAN touchad

2) Battery Indicator and also to fix ACPI error related to LPB.BAT0 during . I am using MBR as my laptop won't boot on battery with UEFI.

3) Brightness of the screen

Thanks MaLd0n for your response. I don't know what you mean by using clover patches.

Please let me know if I don't need dsdt patch and how to do clover patch.
