Hey Maldon I want to ask something my efi folder is not working. Because on pressing f9 I'm getting Mac as boot option, but when I go into bios boot option preferences I'm not getting Mac as my first boot device only windows is there. Do you have a solution.

I must be missing something as I don't have any usb at all after boot with OC (DSDT and TB3 SSDT added).

Any idea?

Thank You so much for your help. brightness slider now working fine , but trackpad still doesn't work and keyboard stops responding after a while. HDMI still not working

Forgot to add my usbport.kext!

I've been too optimistic!

After reboot, sometime I have usb working, sometime not!

I have installed Catalina, I got 2 problem with battery indicator that have delay to change charge state from discharged, that delay approx have 10 sec.

then with battery draining issues, I have tried enable HWP it caused kernel panic, I have installed power management it doesn't take any change after I reboot.

I can't thank you enough, keyboard and trackpad is working perfectly , went through all the useful links related to my problems, the ones related to my graphics somehow reverts the brightness control fix as i was searching for HDMI solution.


The only major thing not working now is HDMI. Otherwise its a perfect Mac.


And maybe offtopic, as my Wi-Fi is incompatible with OSX and there isn't any compatible one available in my country, would you suggest me a dongle that works with Catalina?

Mine is a laptop, and those cards cost too much for me, a usb dongle would be better, until i replace my wifi card.

Btw, any solution for HDMI to work?

Thanks, Maldon. I did replace the kexts folder, but trackpad does not show up in Sys/Prefs.

Okay Used, your dsdt. Still getting No USB 2.0 showig up on SYsytem report.And USB 2.0 devices crash occasionally. please help.

My audio interface crashes . its usb 2.0 . (Stienberg URS 824) then i have to restart to get any of my usb devices to show back up.
