Chucksmmadu Posted November 10, 2019 Posted November 10, 2019 Thank you sooo much [ref]MaLd0n[/ref], I forgot to tell you that I once applied a dsdt patch for my laptop. I thought that since its a pavilion laptop its close to mine. So i decided to clean up everything by resetting my dsdt (which i don't know if it's possible but according to a post by rehabman, you can reset your Embeddedcontroller, EC if it gets into a bad state. To do that, you need to remove battery, cmos battery and hold power button for 30 seconds. I opened my laptop 2 days ago but i couldn't find the cmos battery. Should i continue with the instructions you directed me to anyways?
